Lovely large cottage, fully equipped and warm. Downside was the lack of storage space in kitchen for food, dryer not working on the washing machine, and sofas past their best. The bed was very comfortable and adequate hanging space in wardrobe. Maybe a night light on the landing.

This is a very delightful cottage, full of character. The owner, Nigel, had left us milk, biscuits and roses when we arrived. He also gave us a telephone call to make sure we had everything we needed. A small thing, but very thoughtful. If I could find one thing wrong, it would be, that the sofa and chair were very tired and sagging and hard to get out of, but this is a very small thing, as there was everything you could possibly need and more. The enclosed garden was great for the dogs, who loved it. The entrance is down a very narrow alleyway, but not a problem if you are careful. The village had everything and the local pubs allowed the dogs in the bar and garden. Dartmoor, excellent cream tea at the Two Bridges Hotel, Dartmouth and Exmouth were good. Exmouth even had a beach especially for dogs at the far end of the seafront. We had a most enjoyable week. I can fully recommend this property.
