Mill cottage is a home from home. Everything we needed, clean, comfortable, secure garden for the dog & the added bonus of wifi. Welcome pack & phone call from the owners. It's in a quiet court off Fore street giving easy access to lots of places to visit & family close by. Parking for 1 car is a bit tight but got used to it quickly. Struggled with the gate on arrival, but the owner arrived quickly to sort it out. We could have easily stayed longer than a week, but work beckons! Highly recommend Mill cottage & Buckfastleigh. As I was born there, it's nice to go "home" & see family, & at Mill cottage, you can come & go as you please. Owners are very welcoming. 5* from me.

Nicely tucked away down a lane but needed to be told that wide or tall or very long vehicles would find it difficult to get in. A few shuffles needed. Lovely walk to the nearby Abbey. Good amenities in the village. A very good cottage to stay in.

The cottage was exactly as shown on the website. On arrival fresh milk had been left in the fridge, fresh flowers were on the table and cups and saucers with biscuits laid out ready to use. After a 7 hour drive this was very welcoming. The owner had catered for everything you could possibly need, wifi was even available which was an added bonus.

Lovely period cottage, with enclosed garden in lovely village. Close to local shops, pubs and fish & chip shop, park and open air swimming pool. Parking ok for us but could be tight for wider cars.

Great location in a small lovely town with pubs, shops and café etc. It's within easy reach to the main road and only 30-40mins drive to beaches and main attractions of South Devon. Very clean and nicely decorated. The cottage got all equipment and facilities for our stay. We truly felt at home, and so did our cats. The owner was attentive and we felt looked after. The only downside was parking. Our car is big and our maneuver skills are not great, so turning into the small alley to go to the end and turning again to park our car yrswas not sth we looked forward after a day out. But everything else was good and we had a great holiday.
