This is a very delightful cottage, full of character. The owner, Nigel, had left us milk, biscuits and roses when we arrived. He also gave us a telephone call to make sure we had everything we needed. A small thing, but very thoughtful. If I could find one thing wrong, it would be, that the sofa and chair were very tired and sagging and hard to get out of, but this is a very small thing, as there was everything you could possibly need and more. The enclosed garden was great for the dogs, who loved it. The entrance is down a very narrow alleyway, but not a problem if you are careful. The village had everything and the local pubs allowed the dogs in the bar and garden. Dartmoor, excellent cream tea at the Two Bridges Hotel, Dartmouth and Exmouth were good. Exmouth even had a beach especially for dogs at the far end of the seafront. We had a most enjoyable week. I can fully recommend this property.

Really lovely cottage. Extremely well equipped. Everything you could possibly need was available in the cottage. Lovely touches like flowers, biscuits ,welcome card, milk in the fridge and a phone call to make sure everything was ok. You do need to be cautious driving under the arch as it is pretty narrow so if you have a large car and not confident then maybe get a permit for the carpark around the corner. The cottage has a beautiful enclosed garden which our little dog loved. It was very pleasant sitting on the patio having breakfast . We would most definitely return to mill cottage and are already planning our next visit.
