A great place to stay and would definitely revisit. We were a group of 6 adults 4 children and 2 infants. There was so much space and the cottage is so well placed to get to local attractions such as slapton sands, salcombe, paigton zoo and Torquay. Highly recommend you will not be disappointed.

A great place to stay, very peaceful, with walks right from the doorstep. The beds are comfy, the place is very clean and it’s stocked with everything you need. The local pub is also excellent. Overall highly recommended.

We had a fantastic holiday with really excellent weather which meant we were able to get and about every day. The cottage was perfect for large family gatherings (max 12 people) which is why we chose it. All four up stairs bedrooms were en-suite and the double and twin on the ground floor had a shared bathroom which was ideal for our son, his wife and 3 year old, which meant that they were self contained. The large lounge had three sofas and various other chairs which meant we weren't short of rest space. The kitchen/diner with the 12 seater dining table was huge with plenty of elbow room. The outside patio was great and due to the good weather we were able to enjoy the space with the lovely views. It was also very quiet there and a lovely place to relax after a hectic day. The garden is child friendly and also very safe.

We really enjoyed our holiday in Meadow Mews, particularly the garden and the field. It was lovely to find fresh flowers and a large chocolate cake waiting for us. Carole was extremely helpful with our Tesco grocery delivery, even putting the shopping away for us. On the downside, we were disappointed with the cleanliness - especially dusty, cobwebby corners indicating that some places had been missed for some time and the disgusting state of the washing machine which had a lot of black mould in and behind the soap drawer and 'gunge' in door seal. There were a few general things such as light bulbs blown, one of the dimmer switches in the lounge not working, a socket not working, and most importantly, the door lock in the French doors of the lounge not working. Also the twin beds in the smaller upstairs room were inadequate - the original slats had been replaced with planks of wood that were not fixed and there were large spaces between them which could be felt through the cheap mattresses. The result was very uncomfortable. However the rest of the beds were very comfortable and the bed linen was cotton and very clean. We would have preferred summer duvets though as the weather was a bit warm for the big thick ones on the beds. We also found the sofas in the lounge very uncomfortable as the seat cushions were very flat. We found the toys, books, tourist info and maps very useful.

We had the best time there. The pictures don't do it justice. The place is amazing and met our expectations. I would recommend this place to anyone.
