The woodpecker cottage was a fantastic base for exploring the surrounding areas of lovely Dorset.

Great cottage with just about everything you could need. Comfortable beds, maybe black out blinds in the bedrooms would be nice but the only minor point I could think of, everything else is great. Lovely owner who was very understanding when I changed my arrival day-twice! Thank you v much.

Very clean and comfortable cottage with our own private patio, well equipped, dog friendly, on a working farm with lambs in the field across the drive. Lovely views, lots of places to eat nearby and easy access to the beach and cliff walks at Burton Bradstock

Perfect little cottage in quiet location. Close to Bournemouth, Poole, Weymouth, Bovington Tank Museum. Village pub within a 5 minute walk up hill with friendly staff and great food. Cottage with very well equipped kitchen but beds could have been a bit more comfortable. Enjoyed the warm welcome of local sheep every morning.
