A wonderful relaxing break. A warm welcome from the owner and an even warmer log fire burning when we arrived. A real home from home with everything you would need being provided. Peace and tranquility at its best. We will be back!

Had an absolutely amazing time with our two beautiful dogs. The cottage is set in the wonderful countryside. The owners are amazing and even got the fire going for us on our arrival. We would definitely stay again!

An excellent cosy little cottage in a quiet country location. This cottage fully met all our holiday needs - ease of access to various locations (walks, site seeing, beaches, historical towns with restaurants) and well equipped to make meals from locally sourced ingredients.

The cottage was lovely, easy to find and in such a lovely setting. Inside was welcoming and cosy, and from the kitchen window you could see the birds feeding from a feeder Eve had placed in a perfect viewing spot. We stood there for ages watching many different birds, woodpeckers and squirrels. Eve made us very welcome and was delighted to meet our to fur babies Ebony and Pumpkin (pomeranians). We can't thank Eve enough for helping us out when our car had a flat battery. She was there with chargers and jump leads and her and I standing out in the pouring rain. We had a lovely time there visiting lots of places in the area and hope to return again.

Everything was perfect. The owners were probably the nicest people I have ever met. The location was ideal for cost or country walks. Definitely returning

We were met by Eve upon our arrival and we immediately warmed to her. She seemed to immediately accept us and our 2 dogs like we had been there years and she ensured that we were comfortable with her dogs roaming the land; and we were! (They are lovely and friendly!) The cottage was cosy and clean. There was everything we needed - even spare blankets, dog towels, shower gels / shampoos and conditioners. There is off road parking and a plenty of space for dog walking. The only downside to this cottage (which wasn't an issue for us, as we are used to horses and their smell), was the smell from time to time, which only affects you if you have the front door open for a breeze. We also met Louise (Eve's daughter) one of the evenings and she was as welcoming as her mum. So if you want a nice tranquil location with a lovely country feel, then this place will be perfect! Thank you for having us!
