Lovely old cottage beams and creaky floors, clean comfortable and a fascinating bird table which we could have watched for hours

The atmosphere and location didn't disappoint with this historical cottage. The owners had paid such attention into the details, there was everything you needed or likely to need. It was very warm and cozy with the log fire burning. There is so much to see in the area if you like touring by car. We didn't drive far but saw different sights from National Trust properties, Cathedrals, Cheese factory and walks in the woods. We wound definitely recommend this one and will hopefully be back one day.

Very good, we would not stay there again because we have been there and done that, not because we did not like the location or the cottage.

Cottage was great - but no Wi Fi or Mobile Phone reception - maybe that's a good thing!! Off the beaten track, so a Tom Tom or similar would be a good idea. Plenty to see in the area - highlights Ledbury and Ludlow. Loads of National Trust properties, most with good walks. Property recommended, particularly if you want to get away from it all!

Pleasant cottage located in a convenient position for local amenities and attractions. Quiet and peaceful, with sheep, birds and squirrels for company(outside only.) Unfortunately, the owners were less than welcoming. On collecting the key I felt we had disturbed them. They said they would see us later but we did not see them again until we returned the key.

This is absolutely ideal for anyone seeking a peaceful quiet holiday. It's also well situated for touring. The cottage is in a lovely position overlooking woodlands and a brook. The cottage is well equipped with pretty much everything you could need. Logs were provided for the wood burner and we lit it on the colder nights. It was soon warm and cosy. We found the beds very comfortable too. The kitchen is well equipped, although the cooker is rather outdated. The hob was slow to heat. This is only a minor niggle really. The cottage was so lovely that I don't think anything would stop us from wanting to return. We spent many evenings watching the wildlife in the dingle. We were lucky enough to see a deer, fox, rabbits, bats, bird of prey - and much more - all from the cottage window. The squirrels at the bird feeder also kept us entertained. Perfect place to chill out away from it all.
