This was a lovely, cosy cottage and Alan, the owner, was really helpful. The village is lovely and the village pub had a great atmosphere. The cottage was clean and very well equipped. We will definitely be returning.

Excellent cottage! It has a lovely living room with the most amazing fire. The main bedroom is very cosy and has one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. It was also very well stocked with everything you would need. Would definitely stay again.

We had a relaxing stay in Holly cottage. We was met by the owner Alan who showed us round the place and answered any questions we had. We was also greeted with a gift of Wensley dale cheese and a bottle of local brew, which was both lovely. Local pub ( cross keys with friendly landlord Tom) close by serving good food. The cottage is a good base to explore the area, with plenty walks nearby. We would recommend this place to anyone and will be looking into returning in the future.

The cottage overall was very clean, especially the kitchen. The seating in the lounge perhaps could do with brightening up, as light is limited as expected of a 300 year old cottage. All facilities were exceptional: example washing machine, dishwasher, etc. Location, parking, garden, excellent.

A very cosy, comfortable house well positioned for exploring Wensleydale. Kitchen has all that you need. Warm at night. Good pub meals locally and walks fantastic. All in all, you cannot go wrong staying here.

The owner meeting us at the cottage and providing walk and pub advice was a brilliant touch. Black out blinds on the windows were excellent. BBQ, seating & cushions excellent.
