This spacious, semi-detached holiday property, located in an elevated position, with breathtaking views across the beautiful long sandy beach of Praa Sands and out to Mount Bay. There is a shared footpath to the family friendly sandy beach which has lifeguards on patrol during the summer months and is also enjoyed by surfers. For walks the Cornish Coastal footpath passes the property. Nearby are St Michael’s Mount, Marazion, Praa Sands golf course, Flambards at Helston, sailing, surfing and great coastal walks. Visit the quaint fishing harbour of Newlyn and Mousehole. Heading in land, the countryside offers wide open moorland, rolling hillsides and stunning granite headlands. Ideal for those who want to escape the crowds. Other attractions include the busy town of Penzance with its long promenade and Lido, restaurants, bars and summer market at Porthleven.     it was beautiful, the house wasn't like a show house it was homely, so you could relax. the views are fantastic, we are already planning to go there next year. no internet and we couldn't get mobile connect only when the satellite came over head :). it's NOT there fault but beware of the shower boiling one minute then arctic the next.

    The house was lovely, really homely. Breathtaking views Morning & Evening. Perfectly located for an easy stroll to the beach & light refreshment in the beachside bar or cafe. The shower could do with a little updating but certainly suited the purpose, and WIFI would have been useful for looking up places to go on those typical British wet days, even if the a WIFI was pay as you go.

    Although the actual property was nice with an absolutely gorgeous view the main downside to this property is the access road. DO NOT RENT THE PROPERTY IF YOU DON'T HAVE A 4X4. The unadopted access road is so bad it actually damaged one of my tyres to the point where I was informed that I was lucky it didn't burst on the way home. Also the access to the beach is half a mile away by the Sandbar restaurant as the steps near the property have been washed away and not recently. I feel some of the information about this property is misleading.

    Response on behalf of the Owner; I was disappointed to receive this feedback on my property. As the road is a shared access I have contacted my neighbours and its repair is in hand. I have a BMW with low suspension and find that if you take care it is passable and I have not had to repair my car despite driving up and down the road several times. Whilst the steps immediately in front of the property were washed away, you do not need to go as far as the Sandbar as there are two entrances to the beach nearby - at the end of the path facing the property either turn left and join the coastal path for 200 metres or turn right and cross the recreational field where you will see the steps down to the beach.

    The location & view from the balcony were wonderful. This cottage provided everything we needed & moor & exceeded our expectations.
