Lovely cosy cottage great for group of family and friends, we had such a good weekend the only thing is that there was not much around ie pubs or shops but that was also nice and it was a nice walk down the lane for some fresh air

We have just returned from a 3 night stay and had a fantastic time. The cottage is so lovely that we didn't even leave it on one day. There is plenty if room for adult chilling out whilst the children are entertained in the games room. In the evenings, there is plenty room for cooking big meals and having a great time sat around the roomy table before playing games in the lounge area. One of the best self catering cottages that I have stayed in.

Remote location with stunning views, i would very much like to stay here again. The cottage was nice and warm on arrival, tea, coffee and biscuits were waiting after our car trip which made it unnecessary to unpack immediately. It was a pity we had to leave to go home after our break :-( .

Excellent location, well designed and somewhere I would already have booked if not beaten to it.

Higher Paradise is a pretty but really practical cottage with plenty of amenities for a big group. The Lancasters left a Christmas tree and decorations which was a lovely touch. Kitchen and lounge are open plan which is good for group dinners etc. Very warm cottage, good for winter. Beautiful location which feels remote and quiet but is in short driving distance of nearby towns.
