If you’re looking for a rural hideaway in a peaceful setting then ‘Hersedd Barns’ is your perfect holiday cottage. Set within the owners’ grounds, the cottage has been lovingly restored from its humble origins of the farm cowsheds and hayloft, into a most comfortable rural retreat boasting wooden beams, oak flooring and just oozes with rustic charm and character. The ambience created is cosy and charming, blending the rustic with modern day living with the accommodation offering a large entrance hall with a modern cloakroom and large cupboard for coats. The farmhouse style kitchen is fully equipped with an electric range cooker, gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and Belfast sink and a good range of crockery and utensils, and the dining room is large enough to accommodate any grand banquet. The Snug, having a sofa bed, comfy chairs, and an array of books and games for all the family, leads on to the lovely cosy lounge with French doors leading out to the front patio area overlooking the lovely tended gardens. To the first floor of the barn there are three good sized double bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite with shower, two have double beds and the third has two 3ft singles which can be linked together if a further double bed is required. The main bathroom offers both a bath and separate shower cubicle, along with WC and wash basin. A laundry room can also be found on the First Floor, housing the washing machine and tumble dryer. Hersedd Barns is approached from a private drive with parking for two or three cars to the fore. The lawned garden and patio area to the rear of the cottage offers peace and tranquility affording beautiful views and guests are welcome to use the owners’ fields to walk with their dogs or even bring their horse on holiday with them. A BBQ and garden furniture are also provided for alfresco dining. There is secure storage for bicycles etc in the adjoining barn
