Wales Cottages

The Wales Regional Specialist -Fantastic properties in the most favourable locations. No one knows Wales better!

Set within 130 acres and only a mile from the Blue flag sandy beach of Broadhaven on West Wales ’Atlantic Coast’

One mile of woodland pathway connects this detached, three bedroomed, cedar-wood lodge to the Blue-flag, sandy beach of Broadhaven on West Wales’ Atlantic Coast. Nestled on a south-facing slope within 130 acres of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Haroldston Lodge really does provide the perfect antidote to the chaos of urban life. The large picture windows which adorn its well-designed living area not only flood the space with light but invite effortless appreciation of the beauty of the natural surroundings that won this unique site, the David Bellamy Special Distinction Award. The veranda across the front of the property provides an ideal spot for feasting on the catch of the day and observing the activity at the nearby otter ponds, while inside; cedar walls, a flame effect fire and comfortable soft furnishings offer cosy evenings in. This superb location offers guests access to the fishing reservoir, well-stocked with large carp and other coarse fish, children’s play equipment, adequate parking for a boat and trailer and a vast, unrestricted, varied landscape of outdoor adventure. Wi-Fi Broadband (at an additional charge of £20 per week) and tree-lined, country lanes connect this natural, restorative haven to the rest of the world but you’d be forgiven for never wanting to leave such tranquillity behind. A twenty minute amble through Haroldston Woods rewards you with the vast sandy beach of Broadhaven, offering bathing for families and good surfing, windsurfing and sailing opportunities. The Nautilus on the seafront offers an excellent venue for absorbing the view and dining on largely organic, locally sourced Pembrokeshire produce.

Not one for arachnophobes - though could be just the time of year - lots at home too.

Perfect last minute get away for my partner myself and our two dogs. Perfect location for fog walks and exploring the Pembrokeshire Coast.

It was close to everything. Our 3yr old loved the adventures in the woods. It was awesome and we would like to book it again for next year.

Needs some tidying up but a lovely place to stay. I'd go back but almost never holiday somewhere I've been before. Well equipped & an ideal place to use as a base. The pub at Druidstone is a lovely walk & worth a visit.
