We had a great Oct 2015 half term break at Greystones in Conistone. It's a lovely old house full of character yet well equiped the all the mod cons. The house is beautifully located in the centre of Conistone, right on the brow of the village green. Its a fine point from which to kick off and visit places such as Kettlewell, Grassington and Kinsley Craggs, all of which are within walking distance. A bit further away but a must for a visit by car is Malham and Goredale both world class spots with breathtaking scenery.

Outstanding cottage in the most attractive location. We have visited the Dales on at least 100 occasions over the last 40 years and this cottage would be in our top five.

Superb location and property. Easy access to cycling and walking opportunities. Thoughtful welcome tray and local paper. Bike storage was an added bonus. The fuel was included which was brilliant as often cottages only provide an initial supply. The Mobile phone signal was intermittent but incoming call phone was great as backup. The WIFI connection was great so lack of phone signal didn't matter. We would definitely return to Greystones and highly recommend to anyone wishing to stay in a home from home in the Yorkshire Dales.

A lovely cottage in a great location! Spacious, spotless and thoughtfully equipped with an amazing attention to detail by the owners, who hosted us informatively and cordially. We plan to return later in the year - and for longer.

Really lovely feel to the house. Walks from the door. Our non-walking 13 month old made herself at home and I even managed to push her in the buggy all the way up to the Dales Way via the track by the church. Plenty of information left by the owners. Friendly locals also recommended places to eat - The Kings Head in Kettlewell is recently reopened and does good food. The layout of the house was perfect with the back door opening to a utility area which fitted the buggy/baby rucksack, and any wet stuff soon dried in the boiler room. Trips to Skipton and walks into Grassington, but also a lot of chilling out in the house. Very relaxing holiday.
