We had a great Oct 2015 half term break at Greystones in Conistone. It's a lovely old house full of character yet well equiped the all the mod cons. The house is beautifully located in the centre of Conistone, right on the brow of the village green. Its a fine point from which to kick off and visit places such as Kettlewell, Grassington and Kinsley Craggs, all of which are within walking distance. A bit further away but a must for a visit by car is Malham and Goredale both world class spots with breathtaking scenery.

Outstanding cottage in the most attractive location. We have visited the Dales on at least 100 occasions over the last 40 years and this cottage would be in our top five.

Superb location and property. Easy access to cycling and walking opportunities. Thoughtful welcome tray and local paper. Bike storage was an added bonus. The fuel was included which was brilliant as often cottages only provide an initial supply. The Mobile phone signal was intermittent but incoming call phone was great as backup. The WIFI connection was great so lack of phone signal didn't matter. We would definitely return to Greystones and highly recommend to anyone wishing to stay in a home from home in the Yorkshire Dales.

Greystones is a lovely well equipped cottage in idyllic surroundings (don't forget to take a hairdryer) and is probably the best cottage we've stayed in. Great walking from the door and not far from several other lovely villages. We would definitely stay there again.

A favourite place with us and it is still a delight to visit this area and to stay in such a comfortable cottage. In an ideal world a dishwasher Would be fun, though space is limited. Also, the modern bath us nice and long but has rather deep sides so that the oldest amongst us (in our 80s now) would have appreciated grab handles on the bath sides or the adjacent wall. The lovely and efficient shower means one can easily avoid the bath tub, but it is nice to wallow after a long day out
