Thermostat set too high! Probs with a hair dryer & microwave! Lovely setting, well facilitated, plenty of room! Great for a Ruby celebration!

The cottage is in need of a little TLC and some redecorating as it is a little tired both inside out. Also the showers need updating. However , overall it is a gourgeous cottage in a fabulous location that we would both reccomend and visit again.

We had a wonderful family week staying in Glan Y Mor. There were eleven of us aged between 4 and 70, plus two dogs. The proximity to the beach was brilliant for those in our family who like to get in the sea on body boards and for the children. The table easily sat all of us and the kitchen was well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and it was a bonus to have towels provided, even towels for the dogs. The cottage was lovely and warm with constant hot water. The Sea Shanty and the Seacroft are both within walking distance and we enjoyed delicious food in both. Any problems reported to Jann were responded to promptly.

This is the second time I have stayed here and it is just great for a weekend away with friends or family. The living areas are so spacious that it is easy for everyone to eat together and enjoy an open fire in the lounge together. The location is fabulous, with enough to do locally and some good options for eating. I would highly recommend the cottage. Having said that, the one area that could be improved is the bathrooms which feel a bit run down and in need of modernisation. The water pressure is poor so most of us used the showers on the ground floor. But a small point in an otherwise excellent property.

The cottage was lovely, excellent position handy for the local restaurants and the beach. There was plenty of room for a large family group and the kitchen dining area was fantastic to eat in. On the downside, the bedding was a little tired, every one complained about flat pillows and duvets, that the feathers decended to the bottom through the night. Also there were very big gaps between the floorboards, my daughter will never let us forget losing a jigsaw piece between the floor boards as we now have a 999 piece jigsaw.....seriously though, looking for said jigsaw piece there was a lot of wrappers, dust, broken bits of toy and obviously a jigsaw piece ontop of the kitchen lights which can be seen through the floor boards and could I imagine end up being a fire hazard. We did enjoy our break and I would like visit again

Was very disappointed in the freezer when we arrived. It was full of ice. We couldn't fit much in the freezer.

Great house for our family party - 8 adults and 2 babies plus dog who loved the beach. Super location a few yards from beach. House spacious and very well equipped. Only reason for lower marks for comfort - hardness of beds, which some of our party found difficult! It seems like most holiday accommodation shares this feature, so this house not remarkable in that.

The house was spacious, well set out, comfortable and well appointed. The location and views were superb. It was just a short walk to shops and restaurants. There was ample parking for five cars. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely hen so with my favourite ladies. The cottage was very comfortable and spacious. My only criticism was the smell when you walked in the front door. It was damp or had a dog smell. The sash windows also needed securing

Fabulous place. So close to the beach . Wonderful views from upstairs living room. Attic bedrooms especially lovely, but all good. Central Heating radiators are not adjustable and were on during a fantastically hot weekend. .. Some windows don't open. But overall a great stay and equipped for a large group.

Well location is perfect and house in photographs......But! We stayed over 9-12 June 17 weather was windy so because the windows in this house are worse than chocolate fire guards, nobody in our party of 11 got much sleep due to howling whistles of wind through the poorly fitted windows / sliding doors of the house, the side of house windows are either stuck shut or downright dangerous!!! Open like guillotines be very aware if you stay here! The boiler was always out of pressure and needed constant topping up, the fridge/freezer has seen better days it's colder outside than inside it although the utilities room fridge is better! some single bedding stunk of must and dog, it's not a quiet house as no insulation and wooden floors boards so any noise carries throughout the house. Every bed has the cheapest mattress on them so none are comfy bring your own mattress topper! So after what was supposed to be a nice family relaxing break the whole family were shattered after the weekend we needed another break to catch-up on lost sleep The house is not worth the premium rate it commands please look elsewhere

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner: We are so sorry to hear that you felt our house wasn’t up to your standards. We make every effort to ensure our guests comfort during their stay and our property managers pride themselves on their high standard of cleaning/comfort. The fridge/freezer, along with all other appliances are checked during every changeover. We have again checked the fridge/freezer, which is only a couple of years old, and found this to be in good working order. With the house being directly on the sea front, it is exposed to the most extreme weather and due to the location, guests will experience the impact of this weather, even with double glazing throughout, when compared to being more inland. We have installed new sliding doors leading out to the balcony, which I can confirm are working perfectly. Due to health and safety, certain windows have been sealed shut. The bedding is always laundered to a high standard and we always use mattress protectors (which again, are laundered regularly). Therefore, I am at a loss as to the suggested smell of must and dog. Our mattresses are of a very high standard. However, I appreciate that guests have different mattress preferences and unfortunately, we can’t please everyone with regards to the levels of firmness/softness. We always advise our guests to contact our property managers, who are based only a couple of miles away, if they have any issues with the property whatsoever, and they will do everything possible to rectify any issues that may arise during their stay. Unfortunately, in this instance you did not contact our property managers at all during your stay, meaning that they did not get the opportunity to assist you if there were any issues.
