Beautiful cottage in a very beautiful location. If you want it very quiet this is perfect . The only one thing I would point out which a lot of others have mentioned . Our doggies could get out of the garden . There is also no Storage space for food other than the fridge . Other than that this cottage had everything you need and very comfortable . Would defiantly go again

We were spoilt with beautiful weather and enjoyed the cottage and surroundings thoroughly. We walked, played And barbecued on the beach, swam in the sea, and went crabbing in Bideford. The cottage was well equipped clean and cosy. The garden was a lovely size and secure for the dog. Location was isolated but that was perfect for us.

The location was very remote. No wifi and telephone signal poor. We didn't think the location was described correctly on the website.

A really nice welcoming cottage, perfect for a getaway or longer holiday. Lots of little extras that make a nice difference. Everything worked, the bed was comfortable and the log fire made it toasty. If you want a phone signal you will have to walk about 100 metres towards the beach but why would you want a signal? This is all about getting away from it all. A handy little store at the top of the lane has most of the things you might need including wood for the fire. There are plenty of nice walks directly available from your front door and the house has maps for these. In short a lovely cottage for a holiday, I would definitely go back.

Big disappointment that garden is not secure and dog friendly; secure enclosed garden was our main criteria when searching for our holiday cottage. Apart from this cottage was fine, location is lovely, very peaceful, no mobile phone signal.. bliss!! If garden was as advertised would have much higher rating from us

We had a nice time its a good base for exploring North Devon, the cottage was well equipped even though it is not suitable for people with mobility issues as is on a steep hill. Our main problem was for a dog friendly property the garden was not secure and we spent alot of the week chasing the dogs after they escaped under the hedge. Also the dishwasher didnt work and it is very difficult to adjust the temperature of the radiators.
