This is lovely, warm cosy cottage in a beautiful location. There is a steep path to access the house but the house details give plenty of warning of this and access and parking were not a problem for us. There is a pretty terrace outside and we even managed to use it on one day.The only slightly negative thing for us was that although there was a good sized fridge/freezer and efficient hob and oven, there was a lack of cooking utensils, decent sized pans and dishes with which to prepare food for a hungry family after a day's walking. However, the house is comfortably furnished, there is plenty of seating, the beds were very warm and there was no shortage of hot water for showers. We hung our wet clothes in the garage downstairs to dry, which again is well heated , and this worked very well for us. There is plenty of good walking directly from the house too. We had a very pleasant stay and would happily stay here again.

Overall the cottage is lovely ... Could do with some updating but very homely. The stove/fire needs repaired broken in door. Driveway very steep .. Not suitable for people with mobility problems. Would stay again ...
