Fantastic setting for the cottage - huge garden in very quiet rural location. Owner was very friendly and helpful and happy for us to use their own private beautiful and we'll stoked fishing lake. The only negatives were that the cottage needed a good clean - there was dust and cobwebs everywhere - and that it is looking dating and showing signs of damp. Still wouldn't stop us visiting again - but if you are looking for clean, modern accommodation this wouldn't be for you.

Lovely cottage for bigger group/family. Quiet and very roomy. We went to a family wedding and it was a great base. Very nice owner who was very helpful. Would recommend

We really enjoyed our stay here. While local amenities are a 10-15 minute drive away this isn't an issue. This is a great cottage for a family get together with a lovely south facing conservatory and large garden for the children to run around in (and watch the cows)!

House was very cold the night we arrived, luckily there were so few of us that we could double up on duvets but still had to have the heating on all night to take the chill off. DVD player had a disc jammed in it so couldn't use it. No instructions how to use tv, cooker etc. Tried to hang a dress in the wardrobe and the rail fell down. Could do with a more thorough clean. On the plus side the area is very quiet and the house is very private.
