Clean and well appointed. Lounge/Kitchen area small and very dark even when sun shining. Lights have to be on at all times downstairs. Dining area would not accommodate four people as stuck in a corner giving no room to sit. Nice gesture of cake and milk which was appreciated. Owners house 30ft away but never saw her all week (she was at home) which did not make us feel very welcome. Food at pub next door very poor indeed unlike other pubs in the area. Had a great week but would not return to or recommend this property, due to reasons stated.

We had a lovely week in this cottage. A bit disappointed that the owner wasn't around on the day we left. We wanted to thank her and hand the key and a book she lent us, but she wasn't at home.
