Fabulous. Nothing really negative to say apart from uncomfortable sofas (lol). The house is amazing, the views, the location, the Loch nearby, the wild animals, the local amenities and the house is stunning! I could move in tomorrow. The owners communication was perfect and very much appreciated. A lovely little welcome pack was left. It was a shame it was booked when we wanted to return but I’m sure we’ll be back in the future. We always visit the highlands.

We loved our stay at Einich so much we booked for next year while we were there. We all loved the property and garden, including our Newfoundland dog. We had a great time and can't wait to go back. The property is well presented and Vicki Hughes who looks after it is amazing, so friendly and helpful. There is lots to do in the area we really enjoyed ourselves.

Had checked that we could go in as soon as cleaning was done as on the night train but we didn't feel welcome by Vicki , very bossy ! . House was clean but light in kitchen only had two bulbs out of four and one was broken ,no extra ones to replace .One towel per person ,not good if you wash your hair .Requested more and two more were left for seven people .Looking forward to sitting in garden to enjoy views but only a bench at front as table and chairs at back covered in bird poo and no view where it was placed .BUT comfortable, warm and spacious house ,lovely views and we didn't feel squashed at all .We have stayed in houses in this price range and feel that lovely as it was there it didn't warrant the price we paid at the time.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner: Thank you for your feedback. I’m really sorry to receive these comments which I would like to address here. Whilst it is Vicki’s first season as our housekeeper, she had made all efforts to be accommodating to guests, as shown in other feedback on this website. If there are any matters requiring attention, we asks guest to contact us straight away so that if possible, we can resolve the issue during their stay. The mobile contact details of both Vicki and the myself are included in the welcome pack we email to guest prior to arrival and also displayed in all bedrooms and in the house welcome folder. We don’t tend to leave lightbulbs out as we prefer to change these especially if they are at height. Guest comfort is important to us and the amount of towels we leave out is in accordance with Visit Scotland standards for a 3 star cottage. We do however provide extra if guests ask, as demonstrated by Vicki. Einich I located next to a Scots pine woodland which also means the rooks can be plentiful. Your comments about the table are the first we received and we will look at its relocation. We aim to provide guests with a comfortable and enjoyable stay, knowing that Einich represents excellent value as a 3 * house sleeping up to 8 guest. We would be delighted to welcome you back.

Awesome holiday. We have fallen in love with the highlands and will be returning next year to Einich. Vicki who looks after the cottage was fantastically helpful. Beautiful surroundings and every day out was special.

Lovely spacious house in a quiet area of Newtonmore with lovely views of the countryside. Close to amenities in the village all within walking distance. A nice place to base yourself that you can visit Kincraig wildlife park, Aviemore etc - 20 - 30 minutes drive away. Very relaxing holiday and we were very lucky as the weather was great the whole week.
