Dusty's Stable is located in a beautiful historic Cotswold village and the view from the open plan kitchen/dining and lounge is a million dollar view. Very peaceful place. Wonderful to have security parking on site, central heating that I could adjust to suit my times in the cottage, and the shower worked great with plenty of hot water. Everything worked well and cleanliness was top marks. Perhaps an oversight - soap was lacking when I arrived, but after asking after it, the property owner very quickly provided me with some. I could have done with more dishwasher tablets for my duration of 7 nights - as a traveller, it wasn't useful for me to go out and buy some as the shops only sell in bulk and too cumbersome to pack in flight bags. The hosts were very helpful with regards my enquiries and it was nice visiting their property as it is a farm with lovely friendly and extremely well-behaved dogs. I also liked finding out who Dusty was and seeing his/her photo in the cottage - very sweet touch, and it was nice to know who once lived in this converted stable.

We spent a wonderful week at Dusty's cottage in October and thoroughly enjoyed it. The view from the terrace shows the Cotswolds spectacular scenery of gentle rolling hills, trees and lots of sheep and good weather enabled us to sit outside most days. The town of Chipping Campden is charming, there are lots of places to visit and lovely walks to enjoy. We especially liked the local pub, our visit to the Tower and Hidecote gardens. We were made very welcome and would certainly stay there again.

The only real issue was that the catering equipment provided was a little lacking.
