We spent a wonderful week in Dunkeld with the best weather possible,we all loved the cottage and enjoyed walks along the River Tay in the evening. The cottage is ideally located for trips to Pitlochry,Blair castle,Loch of the Lowes ,Kenmore ,Aberfeldy, Killiekrankie,Queens View and of course Dunkeld it self with Cathedral and Bridge. We appreciated a welcome pack and the owners who live next door are welcoming and friendly.

An excellent cottage in a wonderful location, we loved the gardens and the walk down to the river Tay. The cottage had so much space and was beautiful and homely. We cooked on the Aga a first for us. The back garden was spacious and private and safe if you had children. The reception on our arrival was nice and thought through. Dunkeld is well situated for visiting castles and much more. A beautiful part of Scotland. We ate in Dunkeld at the local Indian and this was first rate.

This cottage was superb - no faults for us! the location is great, just out of Dunkeld so quiet but in good reach of nice walks, scenery, other lovely villages - so a great base for adventures. It's a reasonable drive to Edinburgh - we even travelled back on the last night to see the military tattoo and drove back the same night. The house itself is really comfy, with nice quality furniture and the benefit of the Aga - which was so easy to cook on and sit beside with a glass of something! The very friendly owners really pay attention to detail and left us a welcome pack with wine/chocs and flowers. There were also magazines. Good washing machine too! the enclosed garden was private and safe. The cottage is on the grounds with the owners so you know they are there if you need anything but everything is really private so you can really relax and enjoy your stay. We wished we'd booked longer and were sorry to leave. Will definitely visit again as there's so much to do here. (We are a party of 4 with 2 teenage children!)
