No 57 is a real diamond in the rough situated most happily in the rugged surroundings of gannet infested cliffs. The cottage is separated from the sea by a path. This is a truly get-away-from-it all place. The cottage was immaculately clean, the beds were super comfy (a must for any holiday rental) and open fire and wood burning stove made it really cosy too. The owners have made excellent use of the space in such a small fisherman's cottage and despite 5 being in our party (3 adults and 2 children) it never felt cramped. The owners had arranged a delivery of a new sofa during our stay which was very nice. Crovie itself is breathtaking and it was lovely to experience the remoteness of this tiny village. The views of the sea were outstanding and the surrounding cliffs with its bird life and wild flowers made an excellent location for artists. My husband and daughters happily sketched and painted during the holiday. We will definitely return to Crovie and urge anyone wanting to experience peace and tranquility in a homely, cosy and most comfortable cottage to choose no57. You will not be disappointed.
