These two holiday properties (refs: 24362 amd B5020) are set on the unspoilt Lizard Peninsula, and have been converted from a fine Edwardian hotel. They enjoy an outstanding location on Chynhalls Point, with magnificent views out to sea. Amid large, attractive gardens and grounds, the complex enjoys its own sandy beach and outdoor tennis court. You can enjoy wonderful coastal walks in this beautiful, peaceful area which is protected by the National Trust. A path leads down to the fishing village of Coverack, with its shops, restaurant and pub. Here you can enjoy sandy and shingle beaches, deep sea fishing and windsurfing lessons, all within ½ mile. Visit Roskillys Farm, famed for their cream and ice cream, or visit Goonhilly satellite station, 3 miles. The Mullion 18-hole golf course is 9 miles away, and there are plenty of coves and beaches within easy reach. An excellent site for bird watching and rare wild flowers. The apartments have been superbly converted to provide a good standard of holiday accommodation, with the properties having spectacular sea views, they are ideal for couples and families alike. This is a well-placed holiday base from which to explore. Pub within 1 mile.

    3rd year of visiting this property. It is urgent need of repair, maintenance and some refurbishment and I would not book again unless things improved. (We were most impressed with your Customer Services dept in quickly contacting the owner on our behalf.) Location is absolutely stunning and the apartment is generously sized. However, the fact that there is no door handle on the front door needs to be resolved. The dirty, rusty radiator placed in front of the living area radiator need to be removed and the plumbed radiator repaired. The broken window mechanism in one of the bedrooms needs to be repaired. This was broken last year! The dripping taps need sorting out as does the shower screen that is stuck and the heated towel rail in the bathroom that does not work this year. Very disappointing value for money this year. Previous years ratings were good.

    The apartment was beautiful and everything inside the apartment was fantastic. We didnt use the tennis court but we did use the washing machine and tumble dryer. The washing machine and tumble dryer was not value for money as the washing machine was £4 per wash and it doesn't finish the wash cycle as the clothes were soaking wet when removed from the washing machine. The tumble dryer was also very expensive at 20p for 8 minutes of drying cycle and considering it requires at least 60 mins for a washing load to dry, it is very expensive. Apart from the washing machine and dryer, the place was spotless, very clean, amazing views and great for short coastal walks with the dog.

    This property sits in the most spectacular position. We enjoyed the views and beautiful walks.The accommodation overall was adequate. The bathroom needs updating, it is mouldy and unpleasant with a very poor shower. The standard of cleanliness was also poor particularly in the kitchen area.
