A fantastic little cottage! In an idyllic location! Great base for all the excellent local walks. The cottage was clean, cosy and well equipped. The bed was very comfy as was the sofa, both very important. Also the shower was very powerful. TV reception was good and the wi-fi was adequate. The view from the bedroom window was sensational! The owner had left milk, tea, biscuits etc which was a nice touch. It was great to have off street parking. This is a perfect cottage for a couple on a walking holiday.

Both of us and our dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cove cottage. It was fully equipped with everything. The area is of outstanding natural beauty from the time you walk out of the door to walk to Malham cove is stunning. If you love walking then this is the cottage for you at Malham

This cottage was perfect for our needs, especially as we were travelling with our springer spaniel. As it was lambing time we were unable to let him off the lead anywhere, apart from in the cottage, so we were glad we hadn't booked one of the local dog-friendly hotels. The cottage is only a few minutes walk to the local pubs/restaurants etc, and an even shorter distance to the entrance to the walk to Malham Cove. The cottage is cosy and well equipped. The shower was divine as it had some power! My only criticism would be the squeaky bedroom floor which meant that as I am an early riser I always disturbed my husband (perhaps, in retrospect, a bonus as it meant he got up!).

Comfortable and practical cottage - one room downstairs, and one room (with small en-suite) upstairs. Good location for walking the countryside and visiting the local pubs and restaurants. TV reception was patchy (particularly on HD channels) and phone signal only possible half way up the stairs. This is not a problem if you enjoy reading books. There is no shop in the village for milk, bread or newspapers, but there is a farm shop a few miles up the road at Airton. Caretaker was very kind and found me hairdryer (which is not standard equipment)
