The only complaint would be the weather when the sun shines it's hot when it snows it's cold when it rains it's wet. So looking back NO complaints

Second time we have stayed at Cotton Cottage. It's close enough to the village for convenience, yet far enough away to feel private. Beautiful location, walk out the door and you're on Lose Hill in seconds, and the start of a great ridge walk to Mam Tor. Lovely area for choice of walks and central location makes it ideal for visiting historical house, mills, mines and shops. In the village there is a train station and buses to both Sheffield and Manchester if you get time to fit it all in. Their is a greengrocer in the village (lovely cherries) and a convenience store, which has the basics of you run out of anything but expensive. Also has an ATM at £1.75 a go! There is a butcher shop which does lovely local meat. The cottage itself has a lovely view and beautiful gardens. The owner lives next to the cottage, but is 'hands off' unless help or information required when she has all the information on the local area that you may need. On our arrival there was milk, biscuits and lovely fresh eggs from the chickens that roam the gardens. The kitchen is fully outfitted will everything you would have at home, even kitchen scales. Would like a couple more baking trays if I'm being overly fussy. The cottage has wifi, sometimes a little patchy but useable. Bedrooms lovely and beds very comfortable. Shower excellent, although do open the velux window after a shower unless you want to set the fire alarm off. Plenty of towels provided. Two very gentle whippets occasionally appear for an ear rub, a couple of cats show up occasionally, and chickens add to interest. There is a cockerel that occasionally crows, but that's kind of what they do in the country. The nearest fun, The Cheshire Cheese is easily walkable and does really nice food. Only a small pub so would recommend you book a table - but definitely worth it. The cheese board is great. There are occasional folk music nights. Staff friendly, beer great very cosy.
