Delightful accommodation, very clean and everything you will need for an agreeable stay. Although the lodge is in very pleasant surroundings it is accessed by very narrow lanes. I would definitely recommend this lodge.

Coombehayes Lodge is an excellent place to stay and is ideally situated on the Dorset/Devon coastal border. The Lodge and facilities are quite excellent and are separate from the owners property. Users of this property can enjoy a nice private stay with the property owners close to hand if needed. The property is set in beautiful garden surroundings with an abundance of wildlife to watch whilst relaxing in the Lodge or the adjoining patio. We frequently saw fox cubs, woodpeckers, deer, badgers, hedgehogs and many species of native birds. At some point we would definitely like to stay at this property again. The owners are very friendly and helpful but not at all intrusive. we thoroughly recommend this property.

Beautiful setting in a large landscaped garden. Many sorts of birds and wildlife including deer were seen were seen daily. One wet day was spent just admiring the gardens and wild life. We were made most welcome on our arrival. It is a relatively easy walk into Lime Regis following the nearby river.

A lovely Easter weekend despite the weather the wildlife in the garden and the comfort of the lodge made up for the rain.

Lovely cottage , with all the amenities supplied. The scones, jam and cream were a lovely touch, as was the pint of milk for that first cuppa when we got there. It was a cold but very sunny late February weekend and the heating in the cottage was exellent. We were made very welcome by Peter who showed us around. The bird feeders outside the windows were always covered in colurful birds and on the ground squirrels and pheasants. Amazing. The cottage was very clean and the decoration very fresh and bright. The outlook from the patio doors of the valley was very picturesque. A sign at the cross roads to indicate the property would be useful, as Peter said we weren't the first to miss the entrance.

The cottage is situated in a lovely part of the country, a short distance from Lyme Regis and the Jurassic coast. There was a welcome pack comprising scones, clotted cream, jam and a pint of milk, as well as a supply of tea and coffee. The cottage was very clean and well appointed. Just outside the window was a well-stocked bird feeder, visited by a variety of birds, various finches, woodpecker and nuthatch, and we had a visit from a deer one morning. The weather was mixed during the week, ranging from beautiful sunshine to not so beautiful rain and mist! A very relaxing week.
