Beautiful peaceful location but just a tad too far out of Lyme Regis for our needs. Spotlessly clean and the owners have put a lot of thought into everything you could possibly need whilst staying there. We loved watching the wildlife particularly the many varieties of birds that visit the feeders.

We had another fantastic week at coombehayes lodge. The cottage is always spotless and well appointed, and the garden is beautiful. The quiet location makes it very relaxing and it is just a short drive or walk to Lyme Regis. We will be back again next year!

Fantastic cottage located a short walk from Uplyme village and 5 min bus ride from Lyme Regis. Furnished in a modern open plan style and finished to a very high standard, it offers everything a couple could possibly need. It has amazing views of the surrounding countryside and is just so peaceful. Highly recommended and we will definitely return.

Very clean accommodation with everything you need. Due to its isolated location may be best for a short break rather than a full week. Wonderful views from the property and a great walk into Lyme Regis we would say are the best things about staying here. The approach to the property is via very narrow lanes with few passing places so you need to be prepared to reverse if you meet vehicles coming in the opposite direction. A good location if you want to visit places such as Sidmouth, Seaton, Bridport, Dorchester and Charmouth.

You could not fault this cottage or the owners who were very friendly but not intrusive.

This was our first visit to Coombehayes Lodge but hopefully not the last. The owners were exceptionally kind and helpful. and the cream tea on arrival was much appreciated. It is ideal for two people. The wildlife in the garden was wonderful with squirrels deer and lots of different birds. The river walk down to Lyme Regis was very good. We can also recommend the Sunday carvery at the Talbot Arms but suggest you book

This was our third stay at this most excellent of cottages which is in a most idyllic location. It is a wildlife paradise - think deer, foxes, squirrels, badgers, bats and many birds (goldfinch, green finch, bull finch, nuthatch, siskin, chaffinch, pheasant, woodpecker, blue tit, great tit, magpie, etc). We fully intend to return.
