Very clean accommodation with everything you need. Due to its isolated location may be best for a short break rather than a full week. Wonderful views from the property and a great walk into Lyme Regis we would say are the best things about staying here. The approach to the property is via very narrow lanes with few passing places so you need to be prepared to reverse if you meet vehicles coming in the opposite direction. A good location if you want to visit places such as Sidmouth, Seaton, Bridport, Dorchester and Charmouth.

You could not fault this cottage or the owners who were very friendly but not intrusive.

This was our first visit to Coombehayes Lodge but hopefully not the last. The owners were exceptionally kind and helpful. and the cream tea on arrival was much appreciated. It is ideal for two people. The wildlife in the garden was wonderful with squirrels deer and lots of different birds. The river walk down to Lyme Regis was very good. We can also recommend the Sunday carvery at the Talbot Arms but suggest you book

This was our third stay at this most excellent of cottages which is in a most idyllic location. It is a wildlife paradise - think deer, foxes, squirrels, badgers, bats and many birds (goldfinch, green finch, bull finch, nuthatch, siskin, chaffinch, pheasant, woodpecker, blue tit, great tit, magpie, etc). We fully intend to return.

We really enjoyed staying at Coombehayes Lodge. The owners were friendly and helpful, the accommodation was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We particularly enjoyed the view of the garden and the various wildlife we saw in it, the walk to Lyme Regis, which the owner told us about, and visiting the local pub, The Talbot Arms, also recommended by the owner. We would definitely visit again.

We wanted a quite and relaxing short break and the lodge did not disappoint. It is situated in a lovely location with amazing views. The lodge is modern with everything that you will need. The owners were very helpful but respected your privacy and were on hand if you needed them.

Lovely place with a traffic free 1.5 mile riverside walk down into Lyme. The Lodge itself was excellent- everything was there and it all worked.

A delightful lodge. A warm welcome, clean, cosy and with everything we needed. The peace and tranquility of the lodge and gardens are superb. We cannot fault it, - ten out of ten.
