Beautifully appointed detached cottage commanding uninterrupted views towards the Lomond Hills

Clochridgestone Cottage is a beautiful detached self catering property, with commanding and uninterrupted views of picturesque countryside toward the Lomond Hills. The interior has been tastefully furnished and is very well appointed. The open plan living space is divided by an unusual double fire feature, with an open fire in the lounge area and on the opposite side a wood burning stove in the sunroom. There is a lovely kitchen area which is fully fitted and has a wonderful large wooden family dining table and chairs. Downstairs also has a cosy double bedroom with en-suite and then upstairs there are a further two larger bedrooms, with a main bathroom. All the bedrooms have zip and link single beds making either twin or super-king beds which offers great flexibility. The cottage is only 2 miles from the pretty, rural village of Glenfarg where amenities include a shop, play park and tennis courts.

Ground Floor: The property has oil central heating and comprises:
Open plan living space
Lounge area:  with open fire, TV, DVD and radio/CD
Sun room:  with wood burning stove and stunning views across open farmland to the Lomond hills
Kitchen:  with electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge / freezer and dishwasher
Dining area:  adjacent to kitchen
Utility room:  with washing machine and tumble dryer
Cloakroom:  with WC and wash basin
Bedroom 1:  with super-king size bed which can separate into two single beds if preferred (please specify) and en-suite shower enclosure, WC and wash basin

First Floor: Bedroom 2:  with two single beds which can zip n link to create one super-king size bed (please specify) and TV/DVD
Bedroom 3:  with two single beds which can zip n link to create one super-king size bed (please specify)
Bathroom:  with bath, shower cubicle, WC and wash basin

All electricity and oil included. First basket of wood for both fires supplied. Fireguard available. Bed linen and towels provided. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate available. Wi-fi available.Garden with outdoor furniture and BBQ (coals not included). Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times due to farm location. Private water supply – certified. Off road parking for 2 cars.

    The cottage is situated at the top of a hill with good views of the surrounding area. M90 is nearby but not particularly obtrusive and provides very good access to other areas. We particularly enjoyed the large sun lounge in a very sunny week. The cottage is very well equipped, maintained and cleaned. Good mobile reception and wifi.

    Had a lovely stay at the cottage. The owners were really welcoming & friendly. The facilities are great, house clean & everything in great condition. Weather permitting, a lovely garden for kids to play in. Views & location were beautiful, peaceful, although quite remote. Perth is a 15 min drive & the closest shop is 10 min drive. The large supermarkets do deliver there, so could pre-order groceries which is convenient. We visited all the major towns like Edinburgh, Stirling, St Andrews etc which were all within an hours drive. Very central, would visit again.

    Excellent accommodation, home from home, views from the cottage were amazing, great location for our holiday, would definitely return to this cottage and recommend this to anyone.

    A beautifully extended small old typical 'but and ben'. Ideal location for visiting many well known Scottish cities, towns and places of interest.

    Wonderful relaxing week, idyllic surroundings and excellent views....not too far from major towns and cities when required...beautiful for wildlife and landscape photography.....and hosted perfectly by the owners......can't wait to return again......
