we all enjoyed the accommodation at cider barn there was a somerset cider cake to welcome us to the barn. Every where was very clean and it was home from home with the touches that Sharon had made. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for showers, baths and the dredded washing up!! The majority of the equipment such as washing machine, tumble dryer etc appeared to be brand new. We all slept well whilst we were at the barn so we were raring to go the next day we would certainly go there again.

Lovely place to stay for a few days. Close to everything you need whether walking or driving. This was our first holiday away as husband and wife as we had to come back from our honeymoon in June 2016 due to our home flooding with the terrible weather, it would have been nice to have been forwarned about the hen do in the other barn before arriving to allow us the option to choose somewhere different. A little too much noise very late at night with gates banging and screaming (when the entertainment arrived) which set our dog off barking. Bed a little hard for us both but the jacuzzi bath soaked all the pains away!!! Would stay again but would check if a stag or hen had booked the other barn.

It's a lovely cottage in a lovely setting and close to lots of days out and things to do. We were made to feel incredibly welcome and nothing was too much trouble, we were even given fire wood for the stove. My only comment would be that the mattress was a little uncomfortable and the bed a bit small but then I am 6.2! All in all, we had a great weekend and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

It was ideally sized for 3 of us. The underfloor heating is superb, we were very warm in February. We lit the stove on the last evening for atmosphere but didn't need to. There is wi-fi although it doesn't appear on the list. The location is good as a base, within a few miles you have the sea (and each of the big supermarkets). There is a footpath going into the Mendips within a hundred yards of the entrance which we explored on one of the days. There are many more but you would need to drive to the start. The roads are quite narrow. We also visited Wookey Hole and drove back via Cheddar Gorge. We went to see the Clifton Suspension Bridge which has an excellent and very informative visitors' centre. Most of Weston super Mare was not open as it was out of season. Weston opens in March, apparently. One disappointment was the enclosed garden in the description, although you can use it, it doesn't feel associated with the Cider Barn, it's next to your parking space but also right next to the Old Dairy it feels like theirs - but was that picture that decided me to book.

Perfect location really clean and well equipped. The only down point was that the enclosed garden is not attached to the cottage making the dogs 3am toilet needs are not very easy. Other than that was perfect and will be going back.

The biggest disappointment was the local pub, unable to get a meal all over the weekend, after that we stopped trying. Very good walks around the village and very good information of the walks at the accommodation. Very pleasant people running the complex.

A great holiday, we were made very welcome by James and his dad. Loved the welcome cake and little touches like the doggy toys and treats for Stan. Will definitely be going back

The holiday was great , its location was perfect for us, it was quiet when we were back at base and was placed in a lovely village , we were very close to the local bus stop which enabled us to leave the car at home some days. We were able to visit other locations and national trust properties, in the car which provided some interesting days out. We had a welcome pack and flowers waiting for us on our arrival, which was a nice touch. The manager and the owners were very helpful and friendly, all in all this was a perfect holiday for 3 people.
