It is a lovely cottage in a perfect location. It's a shame they do not provide towels and luckily we read other reviews to find this information out! I feel we left it cleaner than when we arrived but it was out of season, personally that didn't put us off & maybe it was a one off. We would stay again & it was lovely having a log burner which we used & enjoyed most evenings.

Great stay, cottage was very clean on arrival and well equipped, no towels provided but I probably missed that fact in the info!

It was a lovey cottage but the garden was not very good , you had to go out of the front door to get to the garden no good for our dog .In the kitchen there was a lot of equipment so there was not a lot of room for our food we had to move thing around .

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; The patio area had just been completely refurbished, paved all over except for a few pockets of flowers. It is not suitable as a dog’s toilet as other guests, including children, will be using it. There is a perfectly good “dog walk” a few yards away from the front of the house.

Very well equipped cottage that serves as a useful base to explore the area or to simply stay at home with a good book. The outside space is lovely, a small secluded courtyard that is ideal for a G&T. Local pub, shop and tea room are excellent. Excellent position for walking and the local church at Stoke is worth a visit, at has an Augustine Monastic routes and a friendly and welcoming parish community worship there. A well equipped cottage, that is clean and safe for older children and adults that provides a home from home location.
