Lovely cottage, very clean, good for getting about, Ideal for people with no children under 5, a little difficult with a 1 year old who was crawling because of the steps. Would stay there again but with out the grandchildren.

A lovely querky cottage that has been wonderfully converted from an old agricultural building. We loved our stay but the owners need to give consideration to upgrading some of the old mis-matched furniture and crockery. A basic welcome pack would have very helpful to visitors as this is provided in other cottages. Unfortunately part of the sunshade was broken, which was pity given the strength of the sun during our stay.

A good base for exploring across Cumbria. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped though some larger breakfast bowls would be helpful. We'd like to go back sometime.
