Great cottage to stay in, only a few minutes drive from New Quay. Lovely grounds with boating /fishing lake. Owner lives in farm house within the grounds and is very friendly and helpful. If your fit there is a beautiful National Trust walk from the cottage to a secluded beach.

Wonderful relaxing week in Wales. The cottage was comfortable and cosy, very well equipped and very well laid out to appreciate the lovely views of the area. The owners are friendly and welcoming and, should you have queries during your stay, are always happy to help. On arrival there was a delicious welcome tray with tea, coffee and home made biscuits. There were some essentials in the fridge to save from having to go straight off to the shops on arrival. The hidden delight of this property is Lucy the dog......a friendly Labrador x border collie. Lucy is adorable, she will steal the heart of every dog lover who visits and will leave her pawprint there for a long time afterwards.

Clean, comfortable, didn't want for any equipment. Generous welcome tray, friendly and unobtrusive owner. Quiet location yet still close to New Quay and good walks directly from the property. WiFi doesn't win any awards for speed but is adequate. Although "dog friendly" there are in fact strict restrictions on where dogs are allowed in the house. This should be made plain in the pre-booking details. The bolts on both patio gates are broken and need replacing, they are difficult to operate and present a cut hazard. The water immersion heater needs to be on a timeswitch, I don't need hot water at 3am but I do need to sleep. Lucy the dog, though friendly, needs to quit barking at 6am. The back door binds on the door frame, it needs to be adjusted. Zero mobile coverage in the house except for upstairs bedroom window (tried EE, Vodafone and O2).

Beautiful cottage with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday, we even had the good weather! Walking in the area, outstanding, even though I couldn't do as much as I wanted due to feeling under the weather for a couple of days. Lucy the dog, who saw you off each morning and then welcomed you back each evening just the icing on the cake.
