The week we spent here was fine, the house was much closer to the owners property which isnt very clear in the photos. Only improvements i could suggest would be to sort out the shower in the main bathroom. We all ended up using the excellent one in the en-suite bedroom. I would have liked more cupboards/shelves for clothes in the double bedroom. The cottage kitchen was well equiped and the whole cottage was very clean.

We had a fantastic week with our 2 year old daughter. We were greeted by the owner with wine and Welsh cakes which was a lovely touch. The cottage is beautiful and had everything we needed. The location was lovely and quiet and only 5 minutes from New Quay with its beautiful clean sandy beach. The garden was stunning, along with the lake at the bottom. Highly recommend visiting The Blue Bell Inn situated in New Quay overlooking the sea, stunning views and stunning food. We will definitely be visiting again, everything was perfect.

Really pleasant stay at the cottage and the family are so helpful. The cottage is decorated really well. The floor boards were quite nosy which disturbed our baby son a few times however this is to be expected as it is a converted cottage. There is a lake nearby which we visited to feed the ducks and the boat ride was great fun. All in all we had a brilliant holiday and for us the sign of a great place to stay is whether we would go back and we definitely would!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bwthyn, a pleasant welcome from the owner/offer of help.... and we were left in peace to enjoy our break. Closed in garden area was safe and useful with our 6 month old puppy (who approved of his first holiday) ! The cottage is well positioned, tastefully decorated with plenty of space, all the mod cons (we cooked in every evening apart from one). Highly recommend the local National Trust sites (Mwnt Beach and Llanerchaeron)... none of the local beaches were disappointing (Newquay is among the best and close by).

Fantastic stay in beautiful cottage. Welshcakes and wine on arrival an added bonus, as was Lucy the labrador who welcomed us home each day. Excellent base to explore this unspoilt part of the Welsh coast. Recommend local walk to Cwm Silio from cottage. Penbryn and Llangrannog also breathtaking beaches nearby.
