This is a lovely well-equipped cottage - it looks as if every room except the bathroom has been renovated fairly recently; the bathroom is a bit tired! It has log fire, ipod docking station, dishwasher and all other mod cons and everything is very clean. there are lovely living room and bedrooms etc. The children's bedroom windows need locks however (the sort that allow you to open them a little for ventilation but not open fully), as it would be all too easy for a child to tumble out if standing on the bed. The location is good - a few minutes walk to the lovely estuary (thank you for the fishing nets! our son had a lovely time in the pools when the tide was out!) and set in the fields. BUT - a big but - most of those fields are occupied by a vast caravan park which starts just a few metres away from the front door (the view from the back is as yet mercifully free of caravans). The site was quiet when we were there but it is oppressive and generates a litter issue in the lane. this does spoil what is a lovely cottage and is the reason we wouldn't stay again.
