We had a lovely family break with our two young children and our dog. We were provided with a highchair and stair gates plus the garden was secure and safe. The cottage is only a short walk from the beach and despite the weather not being great we were able to enjoy the rock pools and long stretches of sand and shallow water for paddling. The signs at the beach warn of washing hands after playing in the sand (ominous!) but we did so and encountered no issues. There's plenty to do locally even in bad weather and there were leaflets with ideas in the cottage. Although the cottage is the other side of the fence to the caravan park, noise was minimal and the garden and balcony are at the back so totally private. The only noise came from our own children (!) and the friendly bullocks in the field behind who playfully visited is and gave the odd moo! The cottage is spacious and has two options for dining as well as a very well equipped kitchen. The only slight problem with little ones was the glass bowls and ornaments around the house but a quick move to a higher shelf means this was the only issue we encountered the whole week. We had such a lovely time that upon arriving home we've booked Bryntowy again for next year!

Cottage was perfect, but area was a little off the beaten track for us. 3 teenagers needed more to occupy them which meant we had to do a lot of driving. Would have been perfect when they were younger though. The beach was close and they could have used the Park Holidays pool. Congratulations to Tanylan farms for creating a beautiful cottage. Comfortable, well equipped and with lovely views over the fields from the balcony.

The cottage is set in a peaceful field at back but there is a caravan park 10 feet from the front door. Luckily the park opened the day we left so we did have a lovely quiet break but I wouldn't want to be there when the park was open. Apart from that the cottage is lovely, very comfortable with everything you would need. We had no hot water two days in a row but someone came out to look at it very quickly once we notified the owner.
