A lovely cottage situated right on the River Wye and great location for visiting Forest of Dean and Wye Valley. We took our little dog and slate floors downstairs were easy to clean although thankfully weather was great so no muddy paws! Well equipped cottage with pub next door and village shop over the bridge, so convenient local amenities and lovely walks from front door. We were able to park in a layby near the cottage, but an option of parking the other side of the river is available for people who do not like driving down single track lanes.

we had a very enjoyable weekend, pub next door food and drink very good. Plenty of local walks to enjoy, dog friendly. Our dog really loved lying in front of the log burner.

Everything about the cottage was just great. The location was stunning. Lone Lane is very pretty and being directly opposite the bridge to England was very entertaining. Being right next door to the pub was really handy after days of lovely long walks. The food was good and a vast selection of wines beers and ciders. It was very easy to pick up and drop off the keys. Inside the cottage was really everything you could possibly need. A well stocked kitchen, with dishwasher and washing machine. Basics like oil and salt and pepper and sugar had been put in the cupboard which makes a really lovely change. The cottage was very clean, there was plenty of firewood to have a cosy fire in the evenings, the beds were comfy, lots of DVDs and books and games. Basically it was perfect, even had a waterfall in the back garden! We would definitely go back.
