Great short stay at Awelfa, a good base for exploring the area , incredibly well equipped and games area being a bonus on a rainy day. The only hic up was the rather early check out time - 10:00 AM

We booked Awelfa for a family Christmas. We were delighted to find the home decorated with a wreath on the door and two trees (one real) - a great welcome. There was plenty of room for us, our two grown-up children and my parents and enough space/televisions so that everyone could please themselves. The decor and finish was great too. We had more family over for Christmas day and there was plenty of kitchen equipment for a home-cooked lunch for 11 - although we did have to have a camping table for two to sit down. I also managed the Aga which was rather different to the one I'm used to. The town of Aberaeron is delightful with cafes, a local supermarket for most needs and a good butchers. We didn't try the ice cream but understand that this is good too. I would thoroughly recommend this house for a family holiday.
