Ashpit Cottage is one of the best equipped and comfortable cottages we have stayed at. The owners Paul and Dorothy were friendly and helpful and very much respected our privacy. This was our first visit to Yorkshire, the area is outstanding and so was our stay.

This is a lovely cottage in an ideal location. It is ideally situated for the coast at Whitby or Scarborough, NYMR, stately homes such as Castle Howard and lovely market towns such as Pickering/Malton/Helmsley. We had a warm welcome from the owners and a lovely welcome pack awaiting us in the cottage. The cottage itself had everything you could need and more and was charming and cosy!
