We had a wonderful time at Anchorage, Lynn the caretaker looked after us really well. The property was a fantastic base to visit the local area and was like a home from home. Our dog loved the secure rear garden, just a shame the photos of it didn't do it justice

Had a great stay at Anchorage, idea base for touring.. Lyn the caretaker was great, very helpful.. Anchorage was very well stocked with everything you would need to run a family home.. Only negative for us (and it isn't massive) is that the water pressure is very low in the shower and could do with a power shower..

This is the second time that my wife and I have stayed at this lovely cottage. We used it as a base for the Open golf championship at Troon and it turned out to be a perfect location. The added bonus was the fitting of the WiFi that allowed us to watch Sky Sports on our IPAD. thank you for this excellent upgrade.

This cottage is in a very convenient location in Maidens which was the main reason for us choosing it. The cottage is dated but a functional home for a week. Everything worked and when we did have a problem it was fixed in a reasonable time. The only real criticisms were that the main bedroom mattress was very uncomfortable and we had to put a topper on top of the existing topper and that the heating comes on with the hot water. Wi fi worked well as did all electrical appliances. Plenty of washing powder, towels and dishwasher tablets in the cottage. All in all we would return simply because of the very central location and the convenience that it gave us.
