Lovely cosy, quiet cottage. Extremely well equipped and spotless. Tastefully decorated. Nice bottle of wine and home made lemon drizzle cake on arrival which was not expected. Lovely surroundings. Great location for reaching many different interesting destinations including Chester/Chester Zoo, Snowdonia, North Wales Coast, The Wirral etc. Fantastic.

Lovely place, beautiful gardens and great walks. Downside was remoteness and need to use car to go anywhere at all. Cannot fault the accommodation the space around the property is palatial. If you love countryside and don't mind travelling everywhere in the car, then you will not find a better place.

Charming interior welcomed by wine and welshcakes . We delighted in the birds at our window and the garden. Plenty of books, games and videos . We found so much to see and do in the area and having a railway station nearby made visiting Liverpool so easy. Well equipped kitchen, with a good sized dining table for family meals. Having two bathrooms with 3 women in the party made life so much easier...as did dressing tables etc.

Lovely cottage, it needs a few items fixing though and a couple of suggestions for the future: Fixing - upstairs bathroom extractor doesn't work and the doors to hall way need attention as they do not close easily. The night light in the hall doesn't work. I couldn't advise the owners as they had gone for a break. Suggestion: fully enclose the garden so dog owners can relax especially since the gentleman owner is nervous of dogs. Install a door bell so the owner doesn't walk around the property knocking on Windows which scares the life out of you and agrivates dogs!!! Complaint: pick up all holy bush cuttings. My dog got a leaf stuck in her paw which caused inflammation and iratation!
