The cottage was spacious and clean. The beds were very comfy and it was very quiet in the evenings. There was enough room for 4 cars on the rear driveway. The local pub was a very short walk (only 50metres). I would stay there again and would recommend to friends. It would be much improved if there was WIFI and a working dishwasher. It was also difficult to clean the flat before we left as there were little in the way of cleaning implements and no refuse sacks. There was also no hand soap in the toilets.

We would not stay at the Wagon House again simply because it is too far out from Bath which was the main city we came to see. We had to do more driving than expected. We were attending a wedding there so the accommodations met our needs as we had a big party of people. The downside was we had no internet service except in the pub so we spent a lot of time (& money!) there. The pub staff was superb, met our needs when I needed to use the phone , always very friendly & the food was so yummy! We had a few snags trying to get the washer going, no pegs for the wash line. We are well seasoned travelers , especially to England , & understand how the Windows work in the bedrooms. So we didn't appreciate the owner yelling at us in the night about closing them or entering into the house when we weren't there to close them .We like fresh air as there was no air conditioning. She wasn't always available or approachable if we had questions or needed anything. The lounge definitely needs updated furniture, very uncomfortable & uninviting to want to hang out there. Also for a place to accommodate that many, the bathroom configuration was a little strange. In most vacation homes, there is a notebook with instructions and /or necessary information we could've used. Then maybe we wouldn't have had to bother her so much. On another note, with the possibility of that many people doing different things, it would have been nice to have had more than one house key.

Could have done with a few basics such as toilet roll and soap in all the bathrooms. Pleasant enough but felt rather rushed on the last morning when cleaners arrived early. Also bedding rather old.

Lovely house in gorgeous village short drive from Bath. Living room furniture needs updating - sofas very old and uncomfortable. Few home touches missing - handsoap, pegs, no extra toilet rolls, pictures. Apart from that the house was fantastic for us - large, spacious, clean. Owners nice and friendly.

On the whole the house was very clean but we picked up 3 peanuts from the middle of the sitting room floor ( not under chairs). The double bed on the first floor was made up with fitted sheets that were too small!! This resulted in a very poor sleep for the couple in this bed. The location is great but the house whilst having great potential is not worth 4 stars. (only one towel per bed, extremely cheap cutlery that does not match, shower controls that were extremely stiff either to switch on or turn off).

The cottage was situated in a lovely village and a perfect distance from Bath. The house was plenty big enough for 10 people with adequate bedrooms and living space. The. Living room was very dated compared to the rest of the house and it was disappointing the log fire did not work. It would have been nice to have a few more home comforts for example more than one toilet roll in each bathroom as there was 10 of us, maybe a small supply of tea / coffee for arrival. The cooker in the kitchen is very small considering the amount of people the house can accommodate. The pub across the road was very welcoming and the staff were fantastic.... Letting us borrow the items that weren't provided in the house.
