Drive was difficult - steep, loose gravel, bumpy. We had to open & shut the gate, with the car sticking out into the road. Heating was inconsistent - we had no control. Radiators were cold at 8pm. Shower was usually warm rather than hot most of the time, and cramped with low pressure - more of a warm sprinkle than a hot shower. Sitting room was gloomy - not enough lights, especially dining area. No clocks at all. Pleasant sitting room, but overall there were too many shortcomings.

a few bits of basic equipment missing/not working adequately. I thought from the picture that the lawned area went into woodland, in fact it went on to a main road - so think you need to re do external pictures. but in saying this, it is good value for money and I would stay there again. the local and wider area is so amazing! good pubs, friendly people, good shopping, lots and lots and lots to see/do! fantastic walks and views!
