This was a lovely cottage in a great location for visiting the surrounding attractions and places of interest. Close to local amenities, good eating places and supermarket. Charming and comfortably furnished with those nice little touches that mean so much - milk in the fridge etc. Wifi would have been nice.

Great place to stay to explore the surrounding area. We also caught the train into London on one of our days at Wendover which was very easy as the station is walking distance from the cottage.

It is a lovely little cottage in an ideal location for visiting local towns and attractions. Going for a day trip to London by train is cheap and convenient. This was our second visit to the Old Bakery - enough said.

Well placed to explore the Chilterns, this is a cosy, well-equipped holiday cottage. Spotlessly clean, it has been modernised sympathetically by the owners, and retains a great deal of character. Our only quibble was with the ceiling lights in the lounge and kitchen, which we found a bit harsh. In all other respects it suited us perfectly.

Absolutely super cottage, in a great location. Small sunny 'sitootery' in the garden was a great bonus.

We had a very good time at the old bakery. The owners made us feel very welcome. The overall score is higher because the cottage was realy clean and well done up by the owners. There were all kinds of details like the coffee, towels and many other things that made our stay perfect. For me the shower was a bit too low, since I am a tall person. Wendover is a nice place to stay. Maybe even the nicest village in the area with good restaurants.

I was very satisfied with all aspects of this cottage. Location was perfect for me - not far from my son in Stoke Mandeville, near to a supermarket, fish and chip restaurant, Indian restaurant, the center of Wendover... The cottage was very clean and had all the facilities I needed.

Lovely cottage in pretty village location, had to park on a busy road though. All furnished and equipped to a high standard. We used it for a base to see Bletchley Park which was about an hour's drive away. Nice walks and amenities locally.
