The charming small town of Midhurst, famous for polo at Cowdray Park is also a short drive, as are Billingshurst, Haslemere and Guildford. Goodwood, with its motor racing and horse racing, Fontwell races, West Dean Gardens, Parham House, The Weald, Downland Open Air Museum and the South Downs are all within easy driving distance, as is the cathedral city of Chichester with its extensive shopping and tea rooms, festival theatre and harbour tours. Alternatively, the town of Arundel with its famous castle and cathedral, plus the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust are both well worth a visit. The Witterings and other beaches are a half-hour’s drive and numerous golf courses are within easy reach. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

We had a lovely week in the Coop. Although it is quite secluded, which we like, it is still on good country roads, not narrow lanes, which is always a plus. The cottage is really spacious for two people and a dog. The bed was extremely comfortable and huge. Having the fenced garden was great and an area to sit outside if needed. The owners were on site if needed and it was lovely to hear their donkeys braying in the morning. The cottage is ideally located between Brighton and Portsmouth, being just over 30 miles or so from both. Arundel castle was quite close and a stunning place to visit. The cottage was very clean, modern and nicely fitted out. There are lots of things to do in the area and lots of quaint villages.

A very clean and tidy cottage with all amenities provided. It was very tastefully furnished and spacious for a couple and 2 dogs. The location was excellent for exploring the immediate area and the coast was not too far by car. The owners were very helpful without being intrusive. Lovely meeting the owners dogs. Overall a first class experience.

The Coop was excellent. The accommodation was well designed and thought through. It was bright, comfortable and immaculate. The hostess, who lived on site, was very welcoming, considerate and helpful. We would happily stay there again.

It was a great place to stay and made to feel really welcome in a really lovely cottage. Lovely wine and brownies left for us on our arrival and a great spot for country walks & pubs.

Beautifully fitted out, amazingly comfortable bed and super cosy too. Great wooded walks from the doorstep and isolated enough to really feel like you're "getting away from it all". Loved that Elaine provided a personal welcome along with a few provisions - wine, eggs and chocolate brownies! Would definitely recommend if you like a country break...

Delightful cottage in a beautiful location. Very well equipped and with a nice welcome pack. A 10 minute walk to the comprehensively stocked village shop and 15 mins to two good pubs, both doing food. We really enjoyed our stay.

This is a really lovely place to stay. The property was clean, modern, well equipped and in a great location. We wanted to go on long walks and we were able to. It was easy to find and I can honestly think of no negatives. We would definitely like to stay here again and plan to travel back at some point.
