Sympathetically converted, these super barn conversions (refs PRRJ and PRRK), previously the egg store of a renowned chicken farm, stand side by side adjacent to the owners’ home, which is on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Kirdford. Close to the South Downs National Park, these attractive holiday barns are ideal for couples wishing to stroll, cycle, fish, play golf or visit the numerous attractions within easy reach. Foxleigh Farm Barns has close access to an extensive network of footpaths, leading to the unspoilt part of the low weald, a haven for birds and wildlife. The quaint village of Petworth is 5 miles away, with its plentiful antique shops, beautiful stately home and Capability Brown designed gardens and parkland, where many functions and events can be enjoyed during the summer months. The charming small town of Midhurst, famous for polo at Cowdray Park is also a short drive, as are Billingshurst, Haslemere and Guildford. Goodwood, with its motor racing and horse racing, Fontwell races, West Dean Gardens, Parham House, The Weald, Downland Open Air Museum and the South Downs are all within easy driving distance, as is the cathedral city of Chichester with its extensive shopping and tea rooms, festival theatre and harbour tours. Alternatively, the town of Arundel with its famous castle and cathedral, plus the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust are both well worth a visit. The Witterings and other beaches are a half-hour’s drive and numerous golf courses are within easy reach. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

We had a very relaxing stay in December for 4 nights. Quiet location with lots of good walks in the area. Comfortable cottage for 2 with nice sized open plan sitting room/kitchen. Comfortable good sized bedroom with open gallery. Very helpful owners who made us feel very welcome and lent us some extra equipment. We would stay again if return to the area.

We have had a wonderful holiday at this very private and picturesque location. The barn is well appointed and very tastefully decorated and the owners have been lovely to us. Beautiful flowers wine and extremely nice fresh eggs on arrival, and help with finding somewhere for our dog for a day too.

We were only here for a weekend but it was perfect - wonderfully clean and maintained and very comfortable for both us and the dogs.

We had a lovely week in the Coop. Although it is quite secluded, which we like, it is still on good country roads, not narrow lanes, which is always a plus. The cottage is really spacious for two people and a dog. The bed was extremely comfortable and huge. Having the fenced garden was great and an area to sit outside if needed. The owners were on site if needed and it was lovely to hear their donkeys braying in the morning. The cottage is ideally located between Brighton and Portsmouth, being just over 30 miles or so from both. Arundel castle was quite close and a stunning place to visit. The cottage was very clean, modern and nicely fitted out. There are lots of things to do in the area and lots of quaint villages.

A very clean and tidy cottage with all amenities provided. It was very tastefully furnished and spacious for a couple and 2 dogs. The location was excellent for exploring the immediate area and the coast was not too far by car. The owners were very helpful without being intrusive. Lovely meeting the owners dogs. Overall a first class experience.

The Coop was excellent. The accommodation was well designed and thought through. It was bright, comfortable and immaculate. The hostess, who lived on site, was very welcoming, considerate and helpful. We would happily stay there again.
