Sweet little cottage with beautiful views from the lounge, could gaze at it all day. A very beautiful area. Peter and Sue, the owners, were kind and lovely too. Super pub food in the Brockweir Inn, the staff there were really nice.

Wonderful, peaceful place with an amazing view, which keeps changing. I went out only once in the week because I wanted a rest and it was a perfect place for that. Charming, helpful and unibtrusive hosts too.

We loved this well-equipped and pretty farm cottage for its location and friendly and helpful hosts and we thank Peter and Sue for their hospitality. We were mesmerized by the beautiful view we could see from the lounge window, down the Wye Valley all the way to the Severn Crossing and so pleased that the location gave us access to places like Tintern with is abbey ruins, Monmouth, Chepstow, Raglan and Abergavenny for their castles and Hereford for its cathedral. The cottage is well-equipped and cosy with all you need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed local walks along the Wye and up into the surrounding hills on the Offa's Dyke Path. This was our first visit to the area and we were not disappointed, not least by Spring Farm Cottage itself and would thoroughly recommend it for a quiet location for a holiday.

Absolutely stunning location and very welcoming hosts. We were blessed with glorious sunny weather which was icing on the cake. As a previous reviewer commented, the road up to the cottage is very narrow and steep in places, but doesn't need a 4 x4 to access it (unless it's snowing!) and after the first time and you know where you're going it's really not an issue. The cottage is well equipped and although we did eat out at The Anchor Inn at Tintern two nights we would have been just as happy to retreat to this glorious spot every night and just chill. Great walking from the door of the cottage or without having to drive too far. Some interesting National Trust properties not too far away and although the cottage is very rural there is a good road network with easy access in all directions. We had our dog with us and our hosts and their dog were very dog friendly as was everywhere we visited. A really relaxing week's holiday. Loved it!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Spring Cottage. The lane leading to the cottage is very narrow, and is best suited to either a small vehicle or 4x4 type vehicle. It was quite cold, but there were blankets available, and a fan which we found on our last day. The kitchen was well equipped, even had egg cups, although a couple of tumblers would have been useful.
