Impossible to be sand free, it would be good to advise those staying in the house to bring slippers or similar for use indoors. The double bed needs replacing / correcting, it's uncomfortable and seems to be on an angle. No fuel for fire on arrival. No parking permit, luckily the attendant was not about the week we were there. The view was hard to beat though.

For what it is a beach cottage it is good and I have no cause for complaints. In such a wonderful location one cannot expect 5* accomadation

It is a lovely place to stay with everything you need. It is an amazing location right on the beach and it is a good spot for exploring the rest of the South East and the coast. Lovely farm shop up the road and some lovely spots in Rye. The owners were very helpful.

It was lovely seeing the sea first thing in the morning, and listening to the sea last thing at night. My 15 year old son spent his days in the sunroom, me and my husband spent our time on the veranda, my daughter on the sofa. We didn't venture far as it was so relaxing. swimming whenever we wanted. Only thing missing was an airer to dry our things on. We had a storm whilst we were there, it flooded by the back door no damage to or things..someone came to inspect when we let the owner know and left us a towel to mop it up. Definitely going back.

We've been to Seaspray several times and really love it. It's such a cosy cottages on a beautiful beach. It could do with some modernising and TLC but if that means upping the price and not allowing dogs then leave it as it is :-)

The location of the cottage was great, and we enjoyed long walks on the beach. Unfortunately the cottage was extremely cold and the heating was very ineffective - being so cold all the time spoilt our break. I really think the heating system needs upgrading, or the cottage owners limit bookings to summer months only - if we had young children or older people with us I don't think we would have stayed.

    Response from: Administrator

Response on behalf of the owner; In the winter we supply logs and kindling for the open fire and the day before clients arrival all of the radiators are turned on. Night is advertised on the holiday cottages site. Once the fire is lit the cottage warms up very quickly and becomes "warm as toast".
