The cottage although adequate is very grubby worn and dated. Beds cheap and uncomfortable. Shower just a hose from the taps so no pressure. No dishwasher so most of the dishes and cutlery are greasy (not good to have a lump of a previous occupant's fried onion stuck to a plate when you take it out of the cupboard). Most of the contents appear to be the owners old chuck outs or things bought from a charity shop. We booked for 3 nights and then phoned the owner and booked a further night the extra night was then removed from the available days on the website. However when we arrived we were told that the owner had forgotten to book our extra night??? Even though it had clearly been removed!!! So we were not welcome to stay at the cottage for our full break. A feeble sorry was all we were offered very poor. Luckily we were able to book a really Fab room in a local pub. Really second rate cottage and owner!!!

Lovely cottage, friendly owner. Set in a small, quiet village with welcoming locals. There is a pub which serves very good food about a 3-5minute walk from the cottage and a small shop about a 1minute walk. The cottage was clean and warm when we arrived, couldn't ask for more. We travelled to Bicester Village and Oxford and the cottage was in a good location for both. I would definitely stay again and recommend this cottage to friends and family looking to stay in that area.

It was a lovely cottage in the right place for visiting all the lovely villages and towns, and not far from anywhere, so not a lot of travelling. The village it is in has a fab butchers and deli, as well as a nice tearoom.

A lovely little cottage with a fabulous garden. Quiet surroundings. A little difficult to find at first as road map details that we had were slightly out. Owners very friendly. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Fabulous. Much prettier than picture. Double bed has new luxury mattress and singles good too. Exceptional levels of cleanliness and stocked with all you will need. Owners nearby to help out but not intrusive. Fab location close drive to major places. Centre of village but zero noise as set back. Good pub nearby. Highly recommended.
