Convenient for the A30 enables visitors to explore the county with ease: Falmouth with the National Maritime Museum, St Ives with the Tate Gallery, Penzance with the nearby fishing harbour of Newlyn and Mousehole with its art galleries. Visit Lands End, the north coast, ideal for surfing enthusiasts, and the south coast perfect for sailing, fishing and coastal walks. Shops 0.3 miles, pub 1 mile and restaurant 2 miles.

    Although Pennard is a wonderful size and in a good location the house itself was not up to the standards expected. It was very dated, there was visible damp and the house was not clean. Some furniture was broken and some of the towels were almost threadbare. The showers were pretty lacklustre. Overall for the standard of the property it was not good value for money.

    Response on behalf of the owner; Obviously we are sorry that this visitor did not enjoy everything about her stay, but we feel disappointed by her comments. The photographs taken by the holiday company rep and used on the website are a very accurate reflection of the house, which is a much-loved family holiday home. Indeed, many comments on these pages echo that visitors find it a comfortable home from home. We would not wish or claim it to be otherwise. One of our sofas seems to have incurred some damage by previous guests and is booked in for repair now that the season is over, but there is certainly no 'broken' furniture, and the only 'threadbare' towels are at the back of the airing cupboard, for the use of family pets, and never put out for guests. Certainly guests since have left positive feedback, particularly on the cleanliness, in our visitors book.

    Plenty of space for big family/crowd and the location is good. Could do with updating i.e. carpet, some appliances such as the fridge/freezer, dryer are quite old otherwise we were well provided with equipments

    This property is ideally situated. It is in the less busy part of Camborne but you can easily get into town. Pennard is a very spacious property with everything you could think of that you would need. The interior is very personal to the property owners and it's like visiting your grandma and grandads house. The owners are very thoughtful and if there are any issues, are easily contacted. We would recommend this property.

    Lovely location and plenty big enough to be comfortable but sadly has a bit of a damp problem
