A beautiful house in a lovely area. We were charmed by the owner's gifts of cake, bread, butter and milk. All the equipment was perfect, including the gorgeous Rayburn cooker. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of hot water, the huge garden was a joy for the children. Would I return? Yes, tomorrow, if I could. I only have one tiny little bit of criticism, which was that the woodturner, though easy to light (and very helpfully made up prior to our arrival by the owner), didn't really put out any heat, which was a problem for the first two nights when the weather was a bit Arctic. Mercifully the temperature then rose by about six degrees and all was well. But this won't apply to people who don't take the house in January!

We had a lovely stay at meadow cottage. Thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet, large gardens and beautiful setting. Only a few bumped heads on low doorways. The welcome package was very much appreciated.

A wonderful base for tours of the Suffolk countryside and attractions in Norfolk. Elegant cottage with lots of character and large grounds - but mind your heads on the doors! Better equipped than we have experienced before - lots of crockery, cuttlery, pans, welcome milk and butter when we arrived, toilet rolls etc- this makes a difference.
