The weekend at Magnolia Cottage was spent with my husband and 10 friends to celebrate my 50th birthday. We found it to be modern, comfortable and well equipped with plenty room for everyone. The table in the kitchen area was particularly liked by us all as we could be together to eat, drink and generally socialise together. I would highly recommend this Cottage.

Our family had a wonderful stay again at Magnolia cottage. We had everything we needed, slept very well. The welcome pack was super, and we was most grateful to the owners for sorting our food delivery which came early. A wonderful holiday home with everything on your door step.

We were very happy with the cottage. There follows a series of comments from our party. Some are critical, but mainly minor things we are raising so you know about them and might be able to correct some. Not all bedrooms and bathroom doors had hooks for clothes. Not all bathrooms had towel rails. The downstairs bedroom didn't have enough places to store clothes. Seems to be a leak under the kitchen sink. Generally - really great house, very happy. Good location near to sea and amenities. The kitchen was missing some equipment (like a cafetiere and oven gloves) Lots of space, especially for food which has always been a problem before at start of week for some cottages of this size We liked the outside tables, terrace, and covered area. Well equipped for all the main things Good position close to town centre Big round table made serving difficult Broken cupboard door by fridge Broken lower dishwasher tray No recycling

This cottage was absolutely amazing. It was very spacious (there were 12 of us) and no one was under each other's feet. There are plenty of rooms for everyone to go. The round table was amazing as we could all talk to each other. It had everything that we needed and we ate in every night (we stayed for one week). The garden was fantastic and my 5 year old son had fun in his paddling pool whilst we had a bar-b-q. Lucky we had the washing machine because we didn't bring many summer clothes and it was the best week of weather we have had all year - hot sun all week (we didn't wear our coats once). It is in walking distance of the harbour (great seafood) and shingle beach. The town is really pretty, colourful and clean. We celebrated a 40th birthday here hence it's the first time we have all been away as a family. Everyone liked it so much that we are now all discussing going back next year. I only gave 9 for cleanliness as it had very dusty clumps under our bed (only main room though) and dusty behind our television (my son watched a DVD in our room one evening) but this didn't ruin our holiday whatsoever. With the area (not the cottage) it would have been nice to have a closer big supermarket (shopping for 12 people and eating in all week -we only did two shopping trips as the supermarket was a bit far out) and my son wanted a sandy beach to build sand castles (hence we took out our two cars and found a sandy beach). It was a fantastic holiday thank you very much. Would definitely revisit this very beautiful cottage.

Wonderful property and location. As mentioned in other reviews certain items were needed in the kitchen for our party of 10. Once our cars were parked it was great to be within walking distance of the harbour and shops. The round dining table was fantastic for our party.
