A lovely warm house in a wonderful, quiet location. Plenty of space for our family group of 7 and our dog.

Spacious cottage in lovely countryside. Only drawbacks were that it wasn't very clean - quite a lot of accumulated dust - and it was quite chilly, even in August. We could have done with a bit of central heating but weren't able to turn it on.

Nice cottage in a lovely area, was clean and welcoming and we arrived to home made cookies and flowers. The rooms were all of a good size, we went as a party of eight adults plus two large dogs and there was plenty of space for us all. The only downside we encountered was preparing food as the oven and hob were not amazing and there was a lack of baking trays which made cooking a roast dinner for eight a little tricky. We were a little disappointed that we had to be out of the cottage on the last morning at 10am and this would probably put us off booking this cottage in the future, a 12am departure would have been more reasonable we though. All round a good cottage with lovely accommodation and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Fab cottage, perfect location for exploring the dales. Beautiful scenery. Not really much out door sitting spaces, but we were there in winter so it didn't matter. Inside was the perfect space for larger groups, large open plan kitchen diner and living room. More cupboard and drawer space than you could shake a stick at. Well equipped kitchen, even a dishwasher which is always nice, oven took a bit of guess work as there were no numbers on the dials, but all worked perfectly. Lovely sitting area, would benefit from a real fire, totally understand it must be a safety issue. Totally love the relaxed attitude to dogs, making it less of a headache for us than normal. Bedrooms nice and comfortable and layout meant us with babies didn't disturb them with out!! Only criticism is that the single beds were a bit creaky, and maybe two double beds and two twins would be better than one double and three twins. Other than that will be back for more soon!!!
