Spacious, well equipped and comfortable. Beds could do with additional blanket in the cold weather and the bedrooms could be cleaned more thoroughly, behind the wardrobes and under the beds, please. Otherwise, a lovely stay

This was our 2nd stay in the coach house. The property whilst comfortable enough is beginning to look a little tired and in need of some money spent on it. The duvets were only 4.5 tog and the linen worn. The towels were also in need of replacing and small. It is also in need of a deep clean. Take your own games etc as what is there is unusable. Despite this if you want somewhere that's quiet but not too remote then I would recommend it. We will return one day

A great cottage a little out of village. but that was not a problem. Being all on one level was great as one of party has some mobility difficulties.

As others have said the location, layout and size of the cottage are excellent, however this is let down by the poor condition of the showers, beds and some of the bedding and towels. We found the beds uncomfortable, the towels were thin and hard and the bedding thin and of poor quality. The accommodation could have been cleaner with cobwebs that had been there for a while. The grout in the showers and seals need replacing. Shame as with a little more attention to detail this could be an excellent accommodation, but as it is we will not be returning and cant recommend it.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your feedback. All the issues have now been rectified. As you can appreciate the beds are subject to personal preference. If these issues had been raised during your stay we’d be more than happy to help.

Great location, walks out of the backdoor. Perfect for groups as bedrooms opposite sides of the cottage. Fresh flowers, milk and biscuits nice touch. Could do with sprucing up a bit, thicker duvets and wifi. Would stay here again

A great place to stay for a large group. There were 8 in our group and we found it spacious and comfortable. Walks from the door and walkable to the nearest pub

We originally were looking for a property in Grassington which had ground floor facilities but there wasn't anything available for our dates, then we found the Coach house and thought we would give it a try as it is only 2 miles distant. Overall we had a good stay in the Coach House celebrating a 70th birthday with family. The property was very clean and had decent quality furniture. Being open plan it was spacious giving enough personal space for all in our party. The location is ideal if you have pets but there is not a private garden allocated to this property, walks are immediately from the door. Location fairly isolated but is in close proximity to the Barn & Stables so you can make friends with other holidaymakers. Peaceful and quiet only the sound of the babbling brook 20 yards from the building. The snowdrops and bleating lambs were delightful. Our only niggles were that we were very cold on the first night. The beds felt damp and the rooms were difficult to heat. In fact one of our party had to sleep in her cardigan she was so cold. With two of our party having health issues this was quite worrying until the house eventually heated up after a few days. The twin bed mattresses were squeaky in one of the rooms and the toilet/seat needs replacing in the bathroom as it falls back down every time you want to use it! No information in the folder of recommended eatery's which t here usually is in self catering establishments so we started to create one ourselves. Not having Wi-Fi made it difficult to find numbers to pre-book a table as it was Mothers day and pubs were busy. Is there a reason why there is no Wi-Fi? Otherwise all ok we probably would come back during the summer months.

We stay every year and always have a fabulous time. Great location. The only thing i needed was a few more cooking pans as cottage sleeps 8 but that's the only thing I could fault. I will soon be booking to stay again. Thank you for another great stay.
