Great space for 4 couples +2 dogs, clean, comfortable, quiet location only a short drive or walk to Grassington or the nearer pub. It snowed all weekend we were there but our paths were swept & gritted every morning. Only downside was lack of wifi (bring cd's) & the cooker hob which was guess work with the switches & a struggle to cook for 8 hungry people quickly!

This is a fantastic place to stay, location is fantastic park your car up walk everywhere start it up again when you have to reluctantly return home. We have stayed here more than 12 times Charles and his team do a fantastic job and he always has time for a chat when he’s doing his morning checks. So there’s no WiFi, numbers missing from cooker, and other trivial things that other moan about, but who cares , get out there enjoy the dales in any weather, back to the cottage sit round the table have a laugh, sleep, repeat

You can't say you have a garden with patio area when there is simply a patch of grass of 20sq yd and a separate small terrace which has no space once the table and (few) chairs are down. Ancient, inefficient electric hob with no markings; suspected bugs in double bed; insufficient toilet rolls; no spare bin bags (and none for paper at all); nothing to mix food (not even a hand blender); no potato peeler; no soap; generally ill equipped. These days I would have thought every holiday home should have wi-fi.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner: Thank you for your comments. This is a self-catering property and therefore, we leave a starter pack in the property. This includes 2 toilet rolls per bathroom, 2 kitchen rolls and 1 bin bags. We will take into consideration your comments in regards to this. The garden area is as advertised on the website. There are certainly no bed bugs in any of the beds. The hob is only 3 or 4 months old.

We did not find the cottage up to your usual standard. The DVD player did not work One cooker ring did not work. This was inconvenient when cooking for 8 Cutlery, glasses and china was dirty There was not 1 complete game. Sometimes only the box was there Jigsaws were in a drawer all lose. no use at all.

A very comfortable cottage ideal for 2 families because bedrooms are in 2 separate sections of the cottage. Plenty of safe space for children to play.

Fantastic location. Lovely walks from the door. New mattresses wouldn't go amiss. Great that it was all on one level.

This cottage was in a lovely setting, for us, a little too far away from the village of Threshfield and Grassington. It was comfortable and well equipped, great for large groups. Although radiators hot, at times we felt chilly, it took a bit of heating up. Overall we had an enjoyable stay.
