A lovely place but greatly let down by very uncomfortable beds and no mattress or pillow protectors. Not nice to lie on a pillow that someone has obviously had a nose bleed all over!

Beautiful, relaxing setting; fantastic walk to Llanchaeron and down into town; multiple rooms meant easy for large family gathering for all ages; gated drive made football and cricket safe for younger ones. Some deep cleaning and maintenance work needed: balcony on the annex, as reported on our departure, is rotting, chairs on decking are rusting, lots of dust and cobwebs eg behind large furniture.

worked well for the mixed ages in our family reunion. Plenty of space for all , secure gated grounds allowed the younger members of the party to enjoy lots of freedom to play. Hope to return again soon.

Lovely and quirky house, ideal for a large group event, I booked it for my 60th birthday and invited all my family to stay - 9 adults and 3 little ones. Excellent accommodation and very comfortable. Only thing lacking was a more comprehensive set of serving dishes for when catering for a large party. A couple more table cloths would have been handy as kids are messy! Overall we all loved the place and would certainly come back at some time! Many thanks

A lovely property which we felt was let down by unsuitable and ugly lounge furniture for a large group in one room, which was uncomfortable and unnecessarily bulky for the size of rooms. There was a lack of a mirror in some bedrooms and the addition of hooks in all rooms would make a big difference, particularly in the utility room which was used to store outdoor clothing. The wet room in the annexe was extremely cold and unusable. There was plenty of hot water for 9 people. In the kitchen, there was a lack of utensils, particularly serving dishes, for a large group cooking meals and had there been 12 of us, there was neither room nor sufficient chairs around the dining table. There was next to nothing in the kitchen cupboards in the annexe which meant having to take kitchen items from the house. Some of the beds were rather lumpy and the addition of a mattress topper would have made them more comfortable. The floor in the bedroom with the 4 poster bed had not been swept as there was dust on the laminate floor and there were dirty mugs and glasses in the cupboard. If made more cozy, it would be a good place to rent - rather a shame.
