It was clean and comfortable but a few smaller things that spoilt it. No mention of unmade road near the end. I had just had my suspension fixed. Large rust spot in bath reported 2014! No bath after 6 year old complained it was sharp on her bottom. No main bulb in bathroom. Loose toilet seat. Shower doors very difficult to open and close. Missing DVD remote. No bulb in floor lamp. Missing handle on blind in spare room. Oven trays barely fit in oven. No more bin bags left in kitchen. Outdoor light near front door not working

We have used Cotts 4 u many times, Scotland, Yorkshire, Cornwall, Lincolnshire, Wales, in fact all over. When we first arrived we were very pleased the Cottage looked very nice, it was only when we got in things changed, my sister found half bottle of milk, so she poured it down the sink, first mistake, on turning on the tap milky water came straight back up, I tried to plunge it, but NO, so I went outside, low and behold the pipe was not connected and there was a swamp, a muddy hole going nowhere, the thing is if there were Children and they played there don't know what germs they might have picked up, it took over 2 hours to get anyone to fix it, and when he came, he said oh i only done this last week, but the muck that was there was longer than a week, that was the start, we had the bedroom with 2 single beds, there was a 4 door wardrobe very nice until, first 2 doors when we opened them, got ironing board, humidifier, iron, airer, but no where to hang clothes, then we looked at the other 2 one opened, the other was screwed shut, so my wife and I had 1 wardrobe about 2ft wide to hang all our clothes, it never happened we used our Case. then going into the bathroom, in the bath was a black mark, the bath had been chipped, so no way were we using that, the shower was very good if you could get the sliding door open, it was very stiff, staying in the bathroom, there was no where at all to hang anything, from towels to change of clothing. Oh forgot the toilet seat fell off, but I FIXED that. The windows in the lounge were covered with childrens finger marks, and smear, would have been nice if it was cleaned. Then when it rained which it did, the gutters over flowed right round the Cott, the out side waste bin was never emptied, so when we left we had to leave bags in the kitchen. When we read what other people had written, we found that, what we found they also found, that was up to 2 years ago. When I rang you on the first day, the lady offer us £50 back, which was very nice but as the week went on I feel it should have been more, but that has not put us off, your properties have always been VERY GOOD and we are looking for property for next year. Thank you...

We had a really lovely family holiday with our dog, the accomodation was comfortable and modern and we felt really at home. When we arrived the people who look after the accomodation were still there, it was immaculately clean and they were really welcoming.I meant to write some nice things in the visitors book but forgot. It was really good to have a washing machine although it was a little temperemental. I would recommend the accomodation to families.
