Once you’ve crossed the Menai Bridge onto Anglesey, you’ll know it’s just the place to get away from it all. For those of you who like gentler pursuits the Rhosneigr and Aberffraw Coastal Path are ideal. Following the coastline it takes in sweeping beaches, rocky headlands and quaint fishing villages. Angelsey is rich in history and there is no better place to see this than the town of Amlwch and its north Angelsey heritage . Now a peaceful town with three windmills, it has a long history of mining and visitors can explore this at Parys Mountain.
