Scotland Cottages

Scotland is a country of interesting history and heritage, fantastic food and drink, unique arts and culture, and some of the UK’s most inspiring and breathtaking landscapes, as well as abundant wildlife and vibrant towns and cities. Scotland is a destination for lovers of the great outdoors, fans of theatrical performances, and history buffs, as well as anyone who’s ever pined for an adventure. To complement the stunning scenery, we have a range of cottages with swimming pools to suit every budget and family; returning to your own pool is the perfect end to a busy day of sightseeing.

Venture to Fife in search of the past. The ancestral home of Scotland’s monarchy, Fife is a county occupied by castles, monuments and landmarks, each with their own story to tell. Popular activities in Fife include golf, coastal sightseeing, boat trips and walking. Keep an eye out and you may see basking sharks, dolphins and seals. Angus, on the other hand, is a county of mountain landscapes, low-lying hills, ancient monuments and bustling towns. The home of Glamis Castle, Dundee and the beach at Lunan Bay, Angus has something for everyone.

Just a hop, skip and a jump into Scotland from England are the Scottish Borders - 1,800 square miles of unspoilt, breathtaking landscapes waiting to be explored. Here you will discover incredible coastal scenery, dense forests, rolling countryside, and wild and untameable rivers. While Edinburgh and the Lothians are also within easy reach. This land is one to be enjoyed as nature intended - walking and hiking, horse riding, birdwatching and mountain biking are popular activities here.

On the opposite side of the country is Ayrshire; its coastline may be more peaceful and its landscapes less dramatic, but the region is by no means any less stunning. Ayrshire is a county of country parks and castles and is the birthplace of Scottish poet Robert Burns.

A swimming pool is a luxury to be enjoyed on holiday, leading to hours of healthy fun and entertainment for young and old alike. Whether indoors or outdoors, heated or unheated, you’re bound to enjoy the freedom a private pool can offer. In some cases, our holiday cottages with pools are shared between holidaymakers. What better opportunity to share recommendations, stories of your day and make new friends? Just book one of our cottages online or on the phone to make your dream Scottish getaway a reality.
